Cinder and Kai both got their respective thrones, but they finally realized that this would cause them to be apart. I am glad that they touched on the fact that Cinder had zero experience in government and that leading would not be easy for her. I didn’t even have a problem with her want to dissolve the monarchy on Luna, because that made sense. What I didn’t like was that someone who did not want to be Queen would agree to be Empress by marrying Kai. While the argument could be made that she would be able to make changes while not having the burden of all of the responsibility on her, it just doesn’t make sense. Why not set up Luna like England currently, a monarch and a parliament, so that relations could be fostered between Luna and Earth more effectively? Either Cinder wants to lead or she doesn’t, having her alright with it just to marry Kai really doesn’t do justice to her characters. Scarlet and Wolf were my favorite couple throughout the series. There was mutual respect and loss between the two of them. Scarlet and Wolf were both permanently mutilated from their time on Luna, Wolf far more than Scarlet, but it is something that they are going to deal with. Still, I find it hard to believe that they couldn’t do some sort of surgery on Wolf to make him a little less wolfish. Still, I’m glad that their plan was to travel for a while and then settle down on the farm. Very fairytale ending that I was alright for
This is a summary of “A Christmas Story” by Annie Dillard. Every Christmas there was a massive dinner held in a seemingly never-ending dining hall. It was lavish and spacious with a table that was as long as a river and was decorated with many different table cloths and decorations. The ceiling of the hall was covered in chandeliers and the floor was filled with different groupings of people: the sick and injured, the children, to those who wanted to dance or participate in games or various others who gathered in separate sections throughout the hall.
Snow White Journal In my opinion, there is no Snow White “version” that I actually enjoyed. Every single one we talked and read about in class has their own flaws that mostly affect and “hit” the women reading these tales. Snow White is portrayed as this beautiful girl and that’s all she’s meant to be.
I did not think it held up to be the incredible ending it could have been. Whether a happy or sad one. I would have rather Pola kept her fighter spirit than be satisfied with the false notion of calling marriage while being enslaved a happy ending. It also feeds into the ideas of women needing men, love stories, and so on. I get that Simon and Pola had similar experiences, but so did many others on that plantation.
Henry Purcell’s The Fairy Queen: A Case Study The evolution of music can be viewed as a linear timeline of key, innovative composers who have far-reaching influences upon the musical continuum and perhaps epitomises the societal views which are relevant to their time period through their canonical pieces. As a result, in order to conduct a case study into any piece of music one must first realise said piece in regards to the concurrent political climate. Between 1642 and 1651 England was characterised by turmoil through civil war, which was essentially caused over the conduct of British government. This war was between the Parliamentarians and the Royalists, with the Parliamentarians being the victor.
The another place where we see the timeless theme of change is in the movie A Diva’s Christmas Carol is how Ebony Scrooge’s actions change dramatically to show that he transitions from a not very happy man to one that is generous, compassionate, and kind hearted. The first place in the movie A Diva’s Christmas Carol is when we see Ebony, the main character, is visited by her former friend and backup singer, Marli. When Marli She tells Ebony that she was unhappy with her for leaving her alone during her slight struggles with drugs which ultimately led to her death in a car crash. She also notes that Ebony took advantage of her unfortunate death to turn their singing group into a solo act, starring Ebony. Another topic touched on in this conversation

Italo Calvino Literary Analysis “It is not the voice that commands the story; it is the ear.” (Italo Calvino) Italo Calvino was a famous Italian writer who wanted his life to be known and wanted the people to be interested in his stories. It was not only about what he wanted, it was about what the people wanted to hear. He did not just want to make his stories, he was striving to catch the eye of the readers. Italo Calvino’s writings were inspired mainly by his experiences in the war and acquaintances.
It is too bad that it took the death of one of her daughters to see that him keeping the family in the congo was a dangerous decision. Nathan was very selfish because he was so desperate to try and get the people of the congo to believe in his God and get baptised, he was blamed for the death of his daughter. Leah went from following her father and never doubting him to going completely against what he asks of her. In the end, she marries someone who fights for the rights of the people in the congo. Rachel never got over her immature behaviors and still cared way more about her appearance than she did about anything or anyone
“Winter Dreams” was published in 1926. Francis Scott Fitzgerald is most well-known for his novel “The Great Gatsby”. A common theme he is known for is the American dream and how it is corrupt. A better one than she had in fact, but she can only give her so much since they live differently now. Didion says “She is an open and trusting child, unprepared for and unaccustomed to the ambushes of family life” (Didion 3) Meaning that she’s not ready for what is there to come with a “home.” I personally disagree because I don’t want my children going through what I went through especially at a young age when it happened. The experience is still hard for me to cope with and the fact that I’m an only child in the
Literary Analysis Suspense. It's what makes us sit on the edge of our seats at movies, or has us biting our nails as we read. It’s the backbone behind any classic horror film where the babysitter keeps getting unknown phone calls about checking the children and she asks the police to trace the call only to get a call back saying it's coming from upstairs.

It is a pity that the nice visuals are not backed up by a better story. We actually liked the characters, from Mikage who is actually quite a competent fighter trying to escape the shadow of his father to the girls, both of whom have their own personality quirks. However, the story felt a little too disjointed to really draw us in and each scenario only serves as an excuse to dish up another H-scene. If that is all that you expect from Sakura Nova you’ll have fun, but if you want a visual novel with a story that will keep you hooked then there are better options available. There are enough titles in the series at this point for players to know more or less what they are getting themselves into though, so if you are a fan of the Sakura titles you should add this one to your
