Describe and discuss the personal factors that have the most influence on consumers purchasing your product/service.
There are several factors that the consumer would like to see in their idea vehicle. A study was conducted in California measuring what was the most important and least important amongst their clientele. It was revealed in this study the consumer selected the “use of wireless battery charging system, reduced weight, and being spacious” as the most desired features they wanted on their vehicle. This system allowed the customer the opportunity to travel longer distant without having to stop and recharge for hours. Another important factor amongst the customer was the “smaller electric motors” (De Haan, Mueller, & Peters 2006) had the ability to have more thermal efficiency for their gas tanks. Toyota was capable of meeting the consumer needs at the time of the unveiling of the new Prius. The new vehicle proved to not only meet the request of the consumer it left the competitors seeking ways to recreate their own version of the hybrid vehicle. The culture is high in determining the customer satisfaction.
