There are several factors that the consumer would like to see in their idea vehicle. A study was conducted in California measuring what was the most important and least important amongst their clientele. It was revealed in this study the consumer selected the “use of wireless battery charging system, reduced weight, and being spacious” as the most desired features they wanted on their vehicle. This system allowed the customer the opportunity to travel longer distant without having to stop and recharge for hours. Another important factor amongst the customer was the “smaller electric motors” (De Haan, Mueller, & Peters 2006) had the ability to have more thermal efficiency for their gas tanks.
