Parents are one of the causes for child labor especially illiterate parents. Some parents are not able to work so they force their children to work instead of them. Hence, children are more easily employed because they get less money paid than adults and they are easier to get abused. Other cause that is the seedbed of child labor and the biggest cause for child labor is Poverty. In some poor countries, the government doesn't help poor families by providing education, health care or find for them work to get money.
Instead, it will bring about social exclusion and lead to social segregation between the rich and the poor. This is evident not only in the aspects of income but also other aspects such as education, health and housing. Children often have to work outside of school so that they can provide income for their families. Hence, they are unable to fully enjoy the benefits of education, even though it is fully funded for. This leads to a poverty cycle, as they often do not have the skills and knowledge required in the workforce, reducing their potential income, therefore being unable to walk out of poverty.
Not enough is being done to help those effected directly by poverty and everyone suffers because of it. The government is failing, and the blame is being put upon those who are suffering due to there failure. The effects of living in poverty prevent those effected by poverty from being able to escape it but those who can change it refuse to acknowledge that they are the only ones who can do anything, arguing that those effected by poverty can help themselves. Those effected by poverty can not help themselves and more needs to be done for them. One of the reason’s people can not escape poverty on their own is because of the prolonged effects from growing up impoverished.
Also, as poorer families do not have access to free education, the children will still not have a chance to go to school. When families are already in extreme poverty, they would not even have the extra funds to send their children to schools, thus school not becoming an option for their children. Since the children cannot go to school or work, their lives will lose purpose, being detrimental to them in the end. For the company sector, the company is another party which will be heavily affected. Their income will be affected due to the sudden shortage of workers.
Governments have framed various policies for PWDs (Persons with Disability) including reservation of jobs, concession in travelling and special training institutions. Despite these efforts the sad fact is that most people with disabilities and their families remain completely un-served by the government and by NGO resources. In KPK the situation of PWDs is still the most neglected one due to ignorance, lack of awareness, poverty and superstitions. There is a dire need to analyze the existing situation and suggest measures for more practical steps and support is needed for the Special Persons. It is not sufficient that they are engaged in activities but that they are helped in such a manner as to adjust into the main stream of the society by learning skills and earning a living by fair means.
Some even don’t know when and where they were born. Everybody is making money off those little girls. In that kind of lifestyle, it is normal for the parents to tell their daughters that it’s already time for them to look for clients so they could earn for their living. They say there is no option, only an acceptance of tradition. Education should be made available to the aspiring young girls.
If we fail to do farming in our land, people speak badly about us; hence, many farmers do agriculture to endure their cachet in their society.” He fraught, “In Kattupalayam, Nellore and many places in Tamilnadu where agriculture is primary in past days have already extinct due to famine of farmers.” Mostly the families working in agriculture field in villages are found to be not educated as their desire and generation occupation is to do agriculture, they are mostly not aware of the schemes that are provided to them. Even if they are aware, they are not getting it. If this continues, slowly the farmers who depend only on farming might fall to below poverty line which automatically pushes them not to depend on agriculture which might improve the deduction of agriculture land. This instantly increases the price of food
They want them to work and not be educated. Because of money issues people don’t get to pay the fees of the schools. They do have educational centers but still some people of the country do lack education which brings the literacy rate of a country down. These countries are also called Periphery countries. Global Perspective Every country in the world has schools.
Poor people are unknown of their lack of voice, power, and rights, which leads them to exploitation. A poor person being unable to take part in social and cultural norms leads to breakdown of social relation among the people. Poverty is mainly seen in developing and under developed nations like Nepal, Bangladesh etc. More than 25% of the population in Nepal still lives below the poverty line. All the poor countries are facing serious effects of poverty which need to be solved.
4. Economy People living in poverty impacts the employment rates. Without an education, people are unlikely to find an occupation, which leads to unemployment. Unemployment withhold a country from developing into a solid economic system. This causes unnecessary suffering when people cannot contribute to the economic development of South Africa.
