However, most of Kronos’ income now is from its software and services. It started off with a simple idea: there had to be an easier way to record employee time transactions. And then one innovation led to another and that idea grew into something we now call workforce management. Workforce timekeeper is the major product sold by Kronos. Kronos works on the agenda of Workforce Innovation That WorksTM . Kronos has thousands of customers in more than a 100 countries.
Kronos has its offices in India on two prominent locations i.e. Noida and Bangalore. The sales team resides in Bangalore while the engineering team sits in Noida.
As a part of the support team, we were expected to learn the basics of the product and help the maintenance team with their daily maintenance tasks. The tasks have to be performed within a certain maintenance window. We are also responsible for application configuration. The AMS team handles configuration requests by customers. Different customers have different requirements and the configuration of the product has to be changed accordingly. This is done by the AMS …show more content…

Kronos aims at providing organizations with tools they need to help them control labor costs, minimize compliance risk, and improve workforce productivity. The easy-to-own workforce management solutions from Kronos make complete automation and high-quality information a reality. It also helps in scheduling and managing time and attendance based transactions.
As a part of the final semester project course with the course code CSD430, this was an on-campus internship to placement linked opportunity for us at Kronos that was arranged by Career Development Center at Shiv Nadar University. The internship began on Jan 11, 2016 and the mentor for the project from the organization is Mr. Dheeraj Juneja, Manager, KGS Sys Admin team. The internship includes a stipend of Rs. 20000/- per month. The office is located in Noida Sector 62 and the working hours are from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
