Introduction:
As a researcher I would like to propose the problem of bullying and the depression that comes along with it through investigating the effects on the victim and his/her family. What happens to the relationship between the victim and his family after being bullied? As a researcher I’d like to know the positive and negative factors that relate to both the victim and family. The target group for my research is teenagers since I would like to get them aware of the fact that bullying someone can impact their life drastically and also their family as well since the family is the victim’s moral support. Some possible methods of primary research could be publicizing the topic and making the society aware especially the focus group (teens). Furthermore, there are many ways to publicize the topic such as

Furthermore, the reason I chose this topic was because I wanted to develop a better understanding on the victim’s experience during and after experiencing bullying. I also wanted to learn about the victim’s social and family life and how it’s affected by bullying and how the victim copes with the depression that they experience. I believe that bullying and depression are very serious as these two things could ruin one’s life and society should pay more attention to these two things and prevent them from occurring. I thought of doing this topic since I wanted to become more aware of bullying and learn all the factors that tie into bullying and what are the reasons that lead to depression since they both are interlinked. I believe that this topic is important as many people experience bullying and some have even committed suicide due to it and some are just left in depression because of it, which is why it’s an important topic as our society is drastically effected by it. I believe this topic is a concern within each family as they send their child out in the real world with a fear that their child might become a victim of bullying and not be
Through the higher risk of depression, anxiety and panic attacks, bullying can have a lasting effect on a child, causing them to have a damaged adulthood. The effect is seen whereas adults who were previously a victim and a bully are fifteen times as likely have panic attacks, 5 times greater risk for depression, and 10 times the chance more of suicidal thoughts than adults who were uninvolved in bullying. Nowadays, bullying has a different stance through social media, allowing kids to bully without even being in the same room as one another. With the increased times kids see or talk to their peers through the internet, having a bully close to them has the possibility to become very harmful. Bullying can cause the bullied person to bully others.
The articles Shut the Door, the Chinese Exclusion Act, and A Modest Proposal all pertain to population control and solutions to overpopulation within a nation’s borders, whether it applies to those within their boundaries or those seen as a difficulty outside of them. Shut the Door and the Chinese Exclusion Act were created to limit immigration into the United States from outside countries, while A Modest Proposal outlined a solution to overpopulation and poverty within its own citizens. All three of these articles contained what would be controversy in today’s society, although they may have been seen as viable solutions during the time period they were proposed in. Shut the Door was a speech given by a senator in 1924 on the congress floor which proposed to, simply, “shut the door” to outside immigrants and “Americanize” the ones already within the borders. Much like the Chinese Exclusion Act, this proposal was designed to keep out
Furthermore, bullying can lead to emotional harm which can change the life of a target for the worse. Due to of bullying’s emotional impact on students, Bullis Charter School has put some anti-bullying measures in place. One of these measures is called a solution team. Another student who was interviewed said he had been part of 2 solution teams. He reported the existence of a No Bully Referral Form which, he said, could be used to report bullying to one’s self and others.
According to author (Jonathan Swift) of "A Modest Proposal" says "the only families that can survive are the upper-class society". Also, the author (George Orwell) on “Shooting an Elephant” says that "No one had the guts to raise a riot". This two author 's speak in a similarly way in the stories. This essay will explore people who have the struggle of doing what is righteous vs wrongdoing, which might impact their lives in the future. In addition, this decision-making is crucial for their personal development.
Jonathan Swift’s A Modest Proposal takes several digs at the significant issues of his time. He criticized the overall policy of Great Britain on how they treated Ireland. He took several digs at the powerhouse of London to criticize the people in charge. (thesis) "The Pretender" is a term used to refer to James Francis Edward Stuart, an heir to the English and Scottish thrones.
I grew up in Korea, listening to television news where it talked about students committing suicide after suffering from bullying. By psychologically thinking, I thought I would be able to empathize with the victims by analyzing the article. Even though this was a fairly short article, it told me a lot about our society. Bullying is not necessarily a “current event,” but it is a rampant event that still might be happening at the moment I am writing this. Somewhere in the world, a person may be suffering from depression, while we are not even cognizant of the fact of
