These gases are believed to be the main cause of climate change. The three most well known greenhouse gases are CO2, CH4 and N2O. The concentrations of these gases in the atmosphere have increased drastically since the pre-industrial times. It is well documented that the increase in concentrations of these gases is caused by anthropogenic activities that includes the use of fossil fuels as well as agriculture. Apart from the atmosphere, the hydrosphere is also affected by this abnormal change in the concentrations of the mentioned gases.
The air isn’t safe to breathe in certain areas. Global warming is responsible for all this. B. Thesis: The causes of global warming and climate change are because of increased emissions of greenhouse gases, and the effects of this are rising temperatures and more severe natural disasters. II. Body A.
The changing concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere along with solar radiation and the change in land cover change the energy balance in the climatic system of earth and this drives climate change (Baker et al., 2007:37). 3. Impacts of climate change The change in global climate has been accepted as an emerging driver of environmental change in many parts of the world (Thapa et al., 2016:345; Reuss, 2015:36). Climate change can cause the degradation and loss of biodiversity and the decrease of ecosystem productivity which in turn lead to severe consequences on forest and human welfare (Thapa et al., 2016:345; Sango & Godwell, 2015:1; Boehlert et al., 2015:1326; Seely et al., 2015:1). In southern Africa warmer temperature and a decrease in precipitation have been observed (Sango & Godwell, 2015:1).
Homero Castro Ms. Cabaj English IV, 3rd period 12 February 2018 Global Warming Global Warming is affecting the entire world. The issue of global warming is important because it’s affecting everyone. This problem is controversial because some people believe that that global warming isn 't real and others believe it is. There is evidence that global warming is real because some scientist agree that the earth 's rising temperatures is due to all of the pollution. My opinion on it is that it is clearly real and we need to do something to stop it.
Global Warming causes and solutions The majority of scientists around the world have a fear of global warming and its effects on nature and humans around the world. Global warming is considered as one of the most threatened in our world today. This essay presents and explains the impact of global warming on earth and suggests to finding the best solutions can be done in order to minimizing those reason that affected on raising the temperatures to avoid this problem. Global warming is the change in the average temperature of the earth is surface as a result of humans’ activity that pollutes the nature. The level of carbon dioxide has been increased in the upper part of the atmosphere which it leads to increase the average temperature on the surface which it causes many problems in many side of life including nature, health and economy.
The burning of fossil fuels has many negative effects on the earth. “Fossil fuels are hydrocarbons, primarily coal, fuel oil, or natural gas. They are formed from the remains of dead plants and animals” (RelightNY). The combustion of these fossil fuels releases large amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, daily. This contributes to global warming.
Global warming may have due to as a lot of problem for us that we make global warming happen. However, people have died as a result due to sickness. However it will also affect our economics and our country. We much need to reduce the global warming by using less gasoline, we should help to reduce, reuse and recycle to help the global warming clean to making the earth temperature expand. Due to our generations should have a starter to learn about global warming and take care of the environment.
It can be able to destroy all the civilization easily by causing a lot of harming effects. It can cause the changing of the temperature to make a lot of living things cannot be adapted with t new habitats. Then there will be a lot of extinctions on Earth. Now the scientists have predicted that the next animal will extinct may be Polar bear because their population is very small now and the activations of global warming also affect those populations. There are also other reasons why polar bears will be extinct like the human activities.
The next century, melting glaciers and expanding seawater will affect wildlife that cannot survive in hotter environments. They may become extinct. Finally, our health is in danger as well, as the Climate Changes could result in the spreading of certain diseases such as malaria. Because if you have ever live in a hot or humid climate you have alot of mosquito's. Specially with all the flooding of major cities on coast line because of the rising sea levels, a greater risk for individuals to become heat casualties , and the air quality will be thick and may not be that good
Climate change has been occurring over the decades but it is just getting worse and more greenhouse gases are getting trapped in the atmosphere and trapping heat energy from the sun along with it. If humans are so small and can create a mess so big we can clean it up too because it is evident that humans have caused an increase in chemicals and pollution that has altered the chemical composition of the atmosphere which ultimately causes the climate change we see
He explains that the Carbon dioxide and methane are needed in small qualities to keep the earths at balanced the temperature, however if the gases increase – the result increase in average temperature worldwide. To demonstration this he in a lab experiment he used a glass jar with a small globe, thermometer and then fed the jar with carbon dioxide. The heat lamps were placed over the jars and as was suspected the temperature began rising. This analogy bring us to the conclusion that increased insulating gases such as carbon dioxide does cause temperatures to rise, as the carbon dioxide traps more of the earth’s radiant heat. Anthony Marr a geophysicist also argues that the increase of Latent heat or Enthalpy will affect the hottest and coldest areas in the world.
