Columbus is not worthy of a holiday because he was cruel to the Natives and claimed their land that they found first.For example Columbus forced the Native Americans to do what he said,he also brought over many illnesses such as smallpox and more the disease made them sick,die,and suffer.In this case Columbus set up the Atlantic Slave Trade and also set up many colonies. Columbus also made the Europeans claim the land and traded the Natives for Africans.
