Pros And Cons Of Concealed Carry Essay

Concealed carry has been debated for a long time based on the idea of it being approved or not. People argue that they believe that it should be accepted everywhere because it helps people defend themselves in the case of a shooting or for self-defense. Others believe that it shouldn’t be accepted because it can cause chaos or deaths. I believe that it should be accepted, but with limitations into where it is approved to bring a weapon to. I believe that there should be limitations to bring weapons to schools, hospitals, parks and to many other places. There are many pros and cons based on the idea of concealed carry being allowed in certain places.
The pros of concealed carry being allowed in school are that in the case of a school shooting it would help students to defend themselves. It is said by people that they believe that teachers should be able to keep guns with them for safety. There is many dangerous gasses, chemicals, and flammable items in hospitals that by a bullet being left lose might cause a huge explosion or cause a big accident. There are some people that need to hook up to certain machines, which makes them a vulnerable victim in the case of a shooting because they can’t unhook them in danger of killing them. Criminals find hospitals as an easy target and by allowing people to carry weapons might create a bigger problem then there was. If they put detectors in the hospitals they would be able to identify the bad people from the good because not everyone would be able to carry a gun.
