This one experience has made me mentally strong. I can now handle pressure, focus on set goals, and intensely compete. Schools would not be any fun if there were not any sports, I mean come on, what’s the point of high school if you don’t get anything good out of it besides a diploma? Many kids that go to school find a purpose of what they love doing, some like the academics and some simply just love playing sports. Too many, it is easier getting a scholarship in sports then it is for academics, that’s why many go to college, not only for the class work but for the sports as well.

The gym would help the community because kids and adults will get there exercise. The schooling system of Otto-Eldred should build another gym so kids can get their exercise, so they won 't go obese. Building another gym would benefit the school of Otto-Eldred Jr Sr high school. First of all, adding another gym would benefit the school. When the school has games or prep rallies we could split the whole school into two different gyms.
I was able to learn how to work with students on their running, and the students were able to learn how to be healthy and active while having fun. It was an amazing experience to see them all improve their times with each session and having fun while doing it. Obesity is such a wide spread problem across our nation, so I am very thankful to have a positive impact on our students, and show them that being active and staying healthy can be something fun they can do with their family and friends. From this experience, I would like to see all of our schools in the district have a running club in place. We modeled ours club after Miano Elementary Schools Running Club.
There are regulations that are not stated because the athletes are expected to know them all. Overall the individuals in the discourse community are essentially the same, sharing common interests and slight personality traits. I chose the Track and Field team as one of my discourse communities because track has played an important role in my life and I have been running track sine the ninth grade. I have been too many city championships and state championships and I have also been too the junior Olympics. While on the track team it kept my physically fit, it gave me motivation to pass my classes and made me determined to beat my time over and over again.
