The driving age needs to be raised to the age of 18. So that people can be somewhat safe on the highways, also young people causes wrecks because, they think it’s good to show off with their friends and drinking and driving as well. That’s how most people are killed now in the world. They should raise the driving age because, at the age of 16 driving means more responsibilities. Also, to understand that there are risks involved. In today’s society the idea of 16 and 17 year olds operating cars has become a way of life. But if one stops to think about it, there is no need for these drivers being on the road. Most of these drivers still live at home and have no job because they 're still in school. Another problem with these drivers is they are very irresponsible and put other drivers in danger on the road. Recent statistics show the most drivers who are caught speeding or involved in automobile accidents are under the age 18. This is because the drivers have no responsibility and cannot handle the task of driving a car. By raising the driving age to 18 it would give these teens more time to mature before getting behind the wheel. And this is why they need to raise the driving age to 18. For the safety of our teens we need to raise the unrestricted legal driving age to 18 years old. Changing the driving age is unreasonable I think. I am not saying that there is good in changing it. I am just saying that it isn 't the best way to go. It gives teens freedom. I think
