Hi everyone! If you don’t already know me, I’m Kayla Alvarado, and as you all know I’m running for vice president, and asking for your vote today. At this moment, we don’t know who the president will be, however whomever you do choose to vote for, there still needs to be a second voice who’ll listen to those who want to be heard but don’t want to be seen. Perhaps, the president won't be available for all meetings and I’d be a stand in. I’d be your second voice, bring up your ideas to the president. I’ll stand by the president, trying to give as much support and offer kindness, as I can. If they’re unable to make a meeting because of certain circumstances, I’ll be their second. I’ll actively get the problems you want resolved, and back them up, back you up. …show more content…
I’m adaptive yes, but I won’t back down if I believe my ideals or the ideals of the people will be denied without good reason. I will not stand for it. I will not impose upon you my ideas and beliefs, but adopt yours as my own. As the vice president i'll be willing and ready to listen to the insight, and amazing ideas of others- hopefully making these school years the best you can have. I don't want anyone to feel as though they don't have a say to what happens in NECA. You all want something for the better of NECA and the president is an advocate for that, and my job is to back them up therefore giving them all the courage and willpower they need. There has been a lot of shifts throughout this school year, with a lot of change, frustrating everyone, all of you, to no extent. With this student council, with our honorable president with you the people voicing what you want, what you need, with me, we can create a clear path giving you everything we can in our

The President of the United States is the face of the government and the figure people turn to most to voice their concerns. The president doesn't do it all alone though. It's impossible to manage a country by yourself. For that reason, the president appoints a collection of people to lead the various departments. Do you know them all?

Every four years on November 8th, a presidential election is held. When a president has served two terms and can no longer serve, all new candidates run for office. As a democratic republic, this country needs a leader who will make decisions in favor of the people of their nation. Last year during the DNC (Democratic National Convention) in October, former First Lady Michelle Obama gave a speech regarding the upcoming election. The purpose of her speech was to encourage her audience, those present with her and those watching her on their televisions, to elect Hillary Clinton as President of the United States.

If there is an issue that needs to be solved, I won’t stop until we find a solution. If elected secretary, I will make sure that your voice, be it soft or loud,
Be specific and thorough! Any additional ideas for the class or council? Not having any experience in the class, and not knowing exactly what it is like, I feel reluctant to put forth any major suggestions. One of my few complaints about the Freshman Student Council is throughout the year there have only been a handful of leadership and service opportunities.
Vice presidents act as the president's right hand. In case of an emergency, they are next in line to become president. The U.S. Constitution assigns the Vice President to act as the presiding officer of the Senate. But the Vice President also serves as ceremonial assistant to the President and is an important part of his administration. They exercised their policy power through their membership on various policy commissions, councils, and task forces.
Mrs. Fehrman, I've always taken joy in being a leader. Having the ability to help guide someone in the right direction intrigues me. That's why I would love to have a leadership position in National Junior Honors Society. I'm specifically interested in being the president, but if I don't get it, I would love to fill another position. I promise that if given the opportunity, I will be a responsible, honest, creative, committed, positive, and productive leader.
I felt as though running for the Freshman Class Vice President would be something I would be great at,” Freshman Candidate Taniqua Hanson explains. Signs, posters, and flyers hung around at each table of the candidates to show their platforms and all they had to offer unto their class. There were about 11 candidates present at this event more females running for positions than males which made the elections even more interesting. The young ladies of NCCU are really getting involved in wanting to make a difference.

Naailah Muhammad Professor David White History 6 March 2018 What makes the controversy between Thomas Jefferson and John Adams so compelling was the fact that they were both outstanding statesman and founding fathers of America. Adams was the first Vice President of the United States, serving the first and second term of President George Washington. Adam is often called the father of the American Navy and he was the first president to reside in the executive house, what we know today as the White House. Adams was a Lawyer and political theorist.
I believe I would be an effective president for debate team because I view every challenge as an intriguing puzzle that I must solve. If not, then I can find another solution as I can find many solutions at the spot. This is because I can see both sides of all issues as I understand that all people have a different opinions, and every opinion is valid as it is another perspective. So debating is an amazing opportunity to show one's views. Nevertheless, if I become president I will be able to encourage everyone to participate more and encourage them to make valid contributions.
As such, Treeholm is appointed the permanent Vice President with some clauses. I would have accepted the job also. If president was asking me to make changes on my management style and do what I am appointed to do, i.e. back the president, I would make necessary changes and do so while being ethical on decision-making. I would also have president add to the agreement that I would bring changes if it deems necessary for me to get the job done.
The Constitution defines the president as the executive who puts into effect the laws Congress passes. The president is elected every four years, and can only be re-elected once. The president is both the head of state and head of government of the USA, and the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. The president is also responsible for the execution and enforcement of the laws created by Congress. The president of the USA is by many considered the most powerful man in the world.
