Essay On School Suspensions Should Be Abolished

First, many people and teachers say suspending students is a good thing, but sometimes couldn’t there be a better option? Although suspending students could be a good solution to a problem for a couple of days there could be a misunderstanding and a child could be punished without anybody knowing the story. School suspensions should be abolished for most occasions and other options should come into play to help the students, teachers and parents figure out the problem and the solution. If teachers would stop just handing out suspensions the students could talk to somebody and figure out the whole story, also If suspensions would decrease the number of student dropouts would decrease greatly and most kids would get a good education and a high school diploma, If students just got suspended after every time they did something bad it would increase the likelihood of something similar happening again.

Also, If teachers stopped handing out suspensions it would help the students greatly by letting them tell the whole story and letting the adult know what exactly happened instead of jumping to conclusions and punishing the students. In an
