The effect on this is that kids will either want to come to school. Another reason is because students will be nervous for school everyday. That why students should not wear uniform. In conclusion uniforms is a bad idea. Another reason students should not wear uniform is because students parents might struggle for paying for uniform and and the kids might feel uncomfortable wearing uniform.
Now I wonder why do we actually have a dress code? School dress code does not improve student behavior and need to be eliminated. So I go to oak grove middle school and we have a dress code policy. It contains shirts , shoes and pants.
Why We Shouldn’t Have A Dress Code? Students should be able to wear whatever kind of cloths they want to school because its freedom of expression. There shouldn’t be a dress code mainly because some people can’t afford the clothes the school wants the students to wear. Then there parents would have to worry about there kids getting in trouble at school. The kids should be able to dress the way they want and not have to worry about buying clothes you can’t even wear to school.
Do we as learners think having an enforced dress code interferes with student education and/or life at school? Some facilitators and parents have enforced different dress code regulations to keep the learners looking to professional standards as much as possible. Other facilitators, parents, and even learners disagree with dress code policies. The way teens dress has become a daily argument in homes and schools. In your opinion should these dress code regulations be enforced among learners whether it is gender enforced or school wide forced?
Many students that know uniforms will be beneficially, but don’t agree with school uniforms will continue to disagree with implementing them. It can be easily agreed that school uniforms may take away their self-expression in school, but what matters more in school is the way of learning. It can also be agreed that many students do not accept the self-expression of their classmates and make fun of them. Students, parents, and school administration should be able to recognize the benefits that school uniforms come with.
I believe that it puts too much stress on kids and it doesn’t show their full potential. Kids could be amazing writers, be very creative, have outstanding leadership, but these tests don’t show any of these talents. Standardized testing should not be required in school. Standardized testing is a test or tests that require all students to answer the same questions in a certain amount of time all the same way.
Recently, more and more schools all over the country have turned to dress codes. Some people say that dress codes teach professionalism and protect students. However, schools should not have dress codes because dress codes target girls and limit their freedom of expression. They also are hard to enforce and students break them anyways. First, schools should not have dress codes because they target girls and limit freedom of expression.
In fact, the most popular reason students feel unsafe is because of the constant peer pressure and bullying issues they face and see happening to their peers. Though schools create new ways to stop these issues from reoccurring, the most effective and simplest is to implement a uniform policy based school. Wearing school uniforms has become very popular. “School uniforms Statistics: 23 Facts on Pros and Cons” states, “The percentage of public schools implementing a uniform
Not every student can afford the most expensive popular clothes resulting in them being pointed out by their peers. This can lead to bullying because what they are wearing isn’t as “cool”. For example, “What you don 't want is some children turning up in fashionable new clothes and bullying the ones in their hand-me-downs who will inevitably feel embarrassed as a result. With a school uniform everyone 's the same, thus no one can argue this point” (Pros and Cons of School Uniforms). This shows that when everyone is wearing the same outfit it creates a sense of equality between all of the students.
Most public schools these days enforce a dress code to a degree, however, about 57% of those schools are classified as having a stern dress code. A stern dress code impacts things such as the length of all bottoms and dresses, tank tops, how low cut a student 's shirt can be. Having a stern dress code however isn’t the only problem. A lot of schools are being called out on the amount of sexism in their school dress code. Schools are calling girls a distraction, LGBT students have been prevented from wearing clothes from another gender, and more.
This is one of those debates that happens over and over again. My judgement on school uniforms is a yes and a no. It would stop bullying over clothing but it basically tells the kids that they can’t express themselves at school. School uniforms would stop distractions but the children would feel like they can’t show their differences in clothing like some kids like colorful stuff and some have traditional clothing and some like certain things that they like to dress in. School uniforms are not a bad idea but the flaw is how the uniforms affect the students minds.
As of Mississippi’s education system, they are using the Common Core Standards, but the teachers, parents, and students are still upset about the standards they are using in the school system. Some education system has turned into a battlefield about the standards because they do not want to change their standards because students are still having a problem with the standardize tests. The school system using these standards will take out all of the fun in teaching and
Dress codes are more distracting than the clothes the students wear and if the students get distracted, it’ll be their fault for not paying attention in class because they are supposed to be paying attention to the teacher and not the clothing on others. The dress codes even ban religious clothes! In Kentucky, a 14 year old girl was suspended for wearing a headscarf or a hijab.
There are some students that feels that dress code is needed but also thinks it is a waste of time. Some students like dress code because it doesn 't show their social class to everyone and makes them feel the same. “ I believe
I disagree with the dress code policy at hampton city schools, kids should be able to wear what they want.clothes express who you are in your own style. You should be able to learn without being uncomfortable. It’s not fair that we can get in trouble just for showing our creativity and personality in what we wear. the dress codes unfairly target girls and transgender students, they feel judged and shamed by the dress codes,The school district need to allow us to wear ripped jeans , tank tops and headwear so students won’t feel bad about what they are wearing.
