The use of the internet cannot be over emphasized most especially now that the world is moving from the primitive analog orientation to digital manifestation. Now one of the fastest means of communication is via the use of social networking sites, the world had gone technological. the debate between whether the social networking sites is a distraction towards educational grade of students is always going around and will always stick around, the only way to correct that is to weigh the benefits and the cost the student are taking by the use of social networking sites, most teachers and administrator won’t the fact that their student are MySpace, facebook or live journal but they also need to understand there are other forms of social networking such as pure volume, YouTube flicker and piczo. Before now there had been problem of information transfer due to distance, border etc. But now, one can sit confidently anywhere in the world just with a click can communicate to the entire world. Social networking sites have brought harmony to learning, new ways to meeting people and sharing of ideas. If properly cared for, checked and monitored can actually bring more good than harm. It can bring about new discovering mostly in our educational sector.
