To study in the United Kingdom there are uncountable culture shock problems faced by the international students. United Kingdom has been the prime destiny for all students around the globe. Despite of any culture, family is unarguably the most prominent factor in a person’s life. I miss my love ones and the feeling of being loneliness is very overwhelming. Especially, students from eastern part of the world feel the home sickness very badly. The association with families in those cultures is very close; hence it’s tough for me to overcome this particular psychological barrier.
The most common problem of cultural shock is the language (J. GOLDBART, J. MARSHALL & I. R. EVANS 2005). Although English is the most famous international language; nevertheless, it is not the written format only that I encountered. The British accent is very difficult to understand. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to catch at the early stage. However, with the proper orientation and counselling, adverse effects can be minimized. Convince yourself and make your mind for the cultural shock, consider it as perfectly expected and normal consequence. Try to find out similar food in near premises and expose yourself more and more to the United Kingdom culture in order to learn and get fit into that.
