I do believe technology makes us more lonely but it depends on the person. I believe technology does make us more alone. People now are always deep into technology, whether it 's a phone, computer, or even television. Phones in particular really isolate people from interacting with each other, as they 're always texting or watching video. Technology is causing us to have connections with our phones instead of connecting with people and it sometimes can cause some people relationships to break apart.
Has technology changed us for the better or the worse when it comes to furthering the cause of the human imagination? People need to be and intelligent users when handling their technologies. As for me based on the title, I have a few opinion about it. Technology has affected people creativity because people keep on depending with technologies. First, computing has replaced creativity .Computers and technology make people feel lazy to think out of their thinking cap on how to solve problems.
And when removed from the social fabric of visual cues-smiles and frowns ad nods-many of us react to one another as we would to something almost human” (179). I felt that this was a very important piece of information to factor in when coming to this conclusion. The increasing lack of human interaction with one another is causing society’s social skills to slowly fade away. When asked, most people would say it is easier to talk and interact with somebody online rather than in person. Interacting online creates a sort of distance, like an uncanny costume, that can isolate one from humanity.
Also causing teens and older adults to forget easy mathematics or other subjects without their heads shoved in a phone. Technology can be both and blessing or a curse to society, it can help us travel and research space and connect people from all over the world. Sadly, the internet can cause bad trend which can lead to cyberbullying or public shaming. What people need to do is balance the amount of time you spend on technology around. For example, leave your phone in your room when your guardian says "Its family time" or "Its time for dinner ¨.
By using technologies, we are decreasing our creativity in searching and applicate all these knowledge in our examination. There are thousands of questions that require students to create a certain object with just a little amount of information given. Creativity is much needed to
Gadgets such as computers, smart phones, and television have been invented over time to make our lives easier and more convenience. The technology has pros and cons. The effect of technology on people could be shown in several ways. However, the question that is to be addressed here is whether people’s dependence on technology has affected creativity and communication or not ? I absolutely agree that technology has affected people’s creativity and communication.
However, those products were like a spiderweb that restricts us to receive the happiness passively. After a long time, it will increase the dependency. Nowadays, It is easy to see people heads down with their phones, instead of talking to the surrounding people. Even in the family dinner, parents and kids took out their phones to take pictures and upload to the social media and waiting for the likes, which could give them a sense of satisfaction but it took away the family atmosphere. In another degree, when people bought something that others could not afford, the feeling of satisfaction will be spanning expand.
However, when we rely on social media, we tend to ignore our surroundings. When we chat with our friends online, we take no notice of the people around us. Our family and friends are thrown away for our cold, hard devices. We have replaced our smiles, laughs and tears for emoticons and abbreviations such as LOL, which means Laugh Out Loud. Now, whenever you go out for dinner, you can see everyone on their phones.
I myself fall into the category described as those who spend too much time on their phone. Isolating myself by engaging in the internet world has caused me to be closed off from my family and friends. It’s a character flaw that I don’t enjoy having for myself and it is something that I try to steer away from. The internet has left a negative impact on humans rather than the positive outcome people may portray it to withhold. As I observe what I see around me, there are many instances involving technology.
Nowadays, science and technology are advancing by strides. Two quote “Technology is a compulsive and addictive way to live. Verbal communication cannot be lost because of a lack of skill. The ability to listen and learn is key to mastering the art of communication. If you do not use your verbal skills and networking, it will disappear rapidly.
