Animals are living creatures that have feelings just like a human being. Animals are not like us on the physical part, but that doesn’t mean that we have the right to kill, hurt or even experiment with them. If you ever had a pet or knew someone related to you who had a pet, they’d probably always be talking about how kind, sweet, beautiful, and lovely their animals are. Animal are even used to test products such as Shampoos, perfumes and cosmetics. Those products aren’t like the ones we use, they have different types of chemicals and they try them on the animals to see if it will affect us.
Amur Leopard is critically endangered because it’s hunted illegally for its beautiful fur. Their population is estimated to be about sixty individuals, they live about ten to fifteen years in the wild and twenty in captivity. People are trying to save the animal from extinction by monitoring populations, protecting their habitats, and trying to stop poaching and trade. Javan rhinos are critically endangered because of genetic diversity, natural disasters, invasive spaces, and diseases. They are only found in one protected area and there are about sixty of them left.
They never feared of loosing their homes but now so many of them already lost their homes due to deforestation. Habitat destruction is a huge problem and if we don 't put a stop to it now we will kill off some of the greatest species. An example of a species that is endangered from deforestation is the tiger and mountain gorilla. No one would have ever though that these two would be endangered of extinction but now it is huge problem. The list of endangered animals in the Amazon forest goes on and on.
One example is that some animals can get a disease called zoochosis and it is shocking what zoos will do when trying to hide it. For instance, “As Dr Keith Lindsay, a biologist with more than 30 years of experience in elephant research and conservation, has said, these are symptoms of “pathological, stereotypical behaviour that is common with disturbed animals in captivity, but which is never seen in the wild”. There are also cases of animals being given antidepressants to hide their unhappiness from visitors. In 2015 Auckland Zoo euthanised a gibbon, Iwani, because he was “severely depressed” and the zoo admitted they could not meet his welfare needs.”(An unnatural environment)This is significant because it shows that when zoos commit wrongs and take problems into their own hands it most often ends up worse. The amount of aquarium animals especially that have behavioral defects is very large and so are the consequences A study made by Captive Animals Protection Society proved that animals living in the water also suffer from this mental detrimention. This study also shows that 90% of the animals in the zoo have gotten this illness.
Hunting has a deeper meaning to some people and to take that away from them is in some ways inhumane. In addition, the detrimental wildlife issues that would emerge if hunting were no longer an option to keep animal populations under control would increase significantly. The idea of keeping hunting alive is crucial to keep our wildlife safe. Hunting may not apply to all people in the world, but it has to be done. In today’s world there is no other possible way to manage our wildlife in such an effective manner as we do it now.
It is known as one of the biggest red targets for animal activists and people that believe it is animals cruelty. Part of this criticism comes from the documentary “Blackfish”, which basically made revenue drop dramatically. According to an article by Binder, “The film is not fully accurate, and it portrays events that happened 30 years ago as contemporary. “The unfortunate thing is that people are taking that film at face value.” Most people now a days believe anything they see on TV. They take things and just believe it without knowing the truth or doing any research to support the claim.
This fact is horrible because they killing people out of frustration and boredom. Park trainers say that claps dorsal fin is normal for a male whales in captivity. This fact is false their fins calps because they 're not traveling far there in
If people realize the wrongness of infliction on animal, so infliction on animal is prima facie impermissible. (Marquis, 1987). Kant and Hence have the arguments that people do not have the duty for considering animal, but their theory is hard to explain is that possible for men would do harm on people because of hurting animal or some people do not inflict animals so that they will not do it on human. The alternative arguments on wrongness of the wanton infliction which considers more on the reader or some people themselves in the situation which the animals may face, so this is plausible. The wrongness of infliction on animals is approved, and the structure to prove this argument is similar with considering the lost of future on adult or young children for abortion, so the arguments which states that abortion is impermissible is powered by the analyze of why infliction of animal is wrong.
Animal rights activists argue that it is inhumane to house animals in inadequate habitats and are upset that many species that aren’t considered endangered are being held in zoos around the world. Zoo advocates argue for the conservation and research of endangered species, and thoroughly work to benefit different species and keep them healthy. Both arguments base their reasoning off of varying ideas, animals rights activists address the physical downfalls of animals in captivity, how it is nearly impossible to perfectly recreate an animals natural habitat, and the abuse of animals in captivity. Zoo advocates argue that the conservation and research of endangered species is necessary to keep them from extinction, they fight for humane treatment of animals around the world and work hard to show the real problem in today’s environment. Endearing Emotions As you can imagine, stories of animal abuse and the destruction of natural habitats around the world cultivate a strong emotional foundation that drives many people’s
This definitely helped a lot, but still doesn’t fix the problem with predators. Predators are like robbers of their prey’s life. Once one is caught, predators never let go. While some may argue that being in a zoo will affect an animal’s hunting skills, it’s not always the best plan to let endangered animals free in the wild. It stands to reason that society should continue keeping our animals safe from danger in
