Artificial intelligence (AI) is the science of making computers do things that require intelligence when done by humans. This simply means they should be able to learn, reason, solve problems and also have the ability to hear, see or become aware of things through their senses. AI is a computer program made by humans in machines in order to make their lives easier. The inception of AI starts back as from 1956 at a conference at Dartmouth College, in Hanover, New Hampshire, where the term artificial intelligence was coined by John McCarthy, a computer scientist. They are able to pick up heavy loads and carry them effortlessly. In so doing they complete tasks faster than humans. They also have the ability to go places where a human is unable to go like space for instance, which is difficult for humans. They do not depend on factors like air thus making it easier for humans to discover unexplored things without risking their own lives.
