1. Provide THREE examples of ways that the validity of research data can be compromised (made less than useful or become of limited value. Hint: think of the ways research studies are designed). For research data to be valid, they have to include ethical norms that must be followed for the data, scientist or researcher to be respected. For example, some ethical guidelines would be how trustworthy the scientist or researchers are. Their work must be honesty, factual with back up proof, and other scientist must be able to see similar results if they duplicated it. Another way for research data to be valid is to make sure and understand that the correlations of certain items cannot cause each other to occur. For example, two correlations could be people who wear double extra large clothing and the rate of heart attack victims. Both of these items cannot cause each other to occur but they do have a common connection to overweight people. In this type of parenting style, parents tend to focus more on the caring and kind side in which they tend to lack in setting boundaries and rules for their children. Parents that are permissive tend to have a friend or buddy like relationship with their child. The setback for this type of relationship would be that child would run over their parents and possible become out of control. An example of this would be, a parent who had finish cooking dinner and called their child out to eat only for the child to through a fit and request for the parent to make something or they won’t eat.
