Social Media “Social media is a fascinating new human phenomenon” (Siegel, 2015). Social media is an approach of communications, participation, business development, an expression of thoughts and ideas, and depicts a talent to a people from all around the world. It also can be defined as a group of applications that are based on the internet technological foundations. The revolution of social networking started in the last ten years, when people became keen on taking part in these websites. The beginning was in forums, were each one can be a part of an argument or a personal situation. The rapid spread of smart phones and tablets facilitate the accessibility to social media’s websites and applications, as Rosen (2011) outlines that the heavy utilize of social media has a negative influence on people by increasing the susceptibility to get psychological problems, and forthcoming health issues. However, the most significant impact that has been occurred is isolation. People are becoming more isolated, because the usage of social media programs decreased the interaction between the others, and make the person always want to be alone. Through these programs, which gives people the right to express their views freely and share it with others not necessarily to be acceptable views. So excessive resort to these programs is what has led to isolation from social or sporting activities. Especially after the availability of these programs on our phones we became addicted to her. In addition, some research says that sitting in front of social networking sites for more than five hours, it is considered addicted. Based on that person’s ability is decreasing to express through his body or his face, it loses its ability to read the expressions of communicate with other people. Thousands of people face daily problems because of the lack awareness of matters which may not be noticeable; for example, some programs that require personal information, such as, phone number, personal picture and email account, threaten the privacy of people. From this point, the spread of social media and the lack of privacy which led to family problems like rise in divorce cases. Due to the large spread of many bloggers and celebrities, which they have shared part of their life with the society that shows us their daily routine. So every user for these social media programs are affected by them in what they act, buy or share. Such these programs are considered a waste of time and money because people try to follow what the celebrities do or buy. Also, social media led to get low grades in the schools or college. In conclusion, there are three negative results of internet social programs. Changing human cerebrum considers as an addiction to the internet and social media. Mental issues and educational negative effects also lead isolation and lack of self confidence. Despite the disadvantages of the media, but it has positive aspects if people use it
