This may make it look like I had the easiest portion to present but it was actually the contrary. Because I only had two pages of text to analyze meant I only had two pages of text to make my presentation on. This was probably the biggest challenge I faced during this project. Information for the presentation could only come from the text, so I was very limited on information. The result, I managed to create a slide filled with important information on how to conduct an interview via email.
I found student essay number two to be more free of error than student essay one was. Even though it had less issues in it, it still was not perfect as it is very hard for anyone regardless of academic status to write without error. The three main problems that I found in this essay were spelling, usage, and formatting. Spelling was an issue for the writer of this paper in a few different instances. The errors were small, and I did not find any huge glaring issues, but nonetheless, they were still issues.
Although I admired these dynamics in the study, the external validity I feel was below average. Since this was one of the first studies to compare health behaviors with mental illness among the veterans, the study is based on one type of population; which, results do not represent the entire community of individuals that have BPD. Perhaps the next step for Kilbourne and his team would be to construct another study that involves a different type of population to compare to the results from their original
When I had first approached this project, my first task was to define each of the words for more clarity as to what they meant and how they related to each other. After defining them, I decided to categorize every word plus an additional word in order to have 4 groups that all contained 5 words each. I admit that I am more of a categorical person, and group and placing things together has always worked out better for me. This part was based on my opinion as I group together words with similar themes or meanings or by how easy they could connect to each other. Simultaneously, while categorizing the words together, I was planning out how to make my actual map look presentable.
These four books have significant differences between the hardest and they easiest. In total they have 1324 pages, allowing me to read approximately 221 pages per week. I chose to put Crown by Kiera Cass as my less difficult book because I read it the fastest and did not have to stop and re-read. I also did not have to try to explain the story to myself because the plot wa straightforward and it is the fifth book in the series. I determined to put Can 't Look Away by Donna Cooner in the second bubble because although it was a nice read and a good story, I lost interest and found it hard to finish the book.
The writer of this story did not go into great length to explain these characters, but he didn’t need to, because the few words that he used to explain them was enough. There was Rose Sharron who “was over 7 feet tall if you measured effect, and about five feet if you measured physical”. There was also Junior, who was described as a good-looking Indian. Then there was Irene Muse who was wonderfully fat, and whose body felt like a large, warm, and soft
I enjoyed treating the pts although I was unable to pick and choice the activities which would have been extremely unethical. I think my confident level with this population of clients has increased a lot which as aloud me to open and learn so much about the clients and who they are as a pts. I was unable to lead an activity because I lead a lot of activities that morning, but they all were picked out by the therapist, but I could administrate it and correct the client to do the correct motion to get the maximum efficiency out of their effort. S.O.A.P. Note Background info: Pt is a 55 yr old African American female with a wrist fracture.
During my first visit I was able to find some very useful information about the Palmetto Music Therapy from their website but the specific visit to the location did not work since they were closed. So therefore for my second visit I was able to stop by the Bluffton Self Help. During my visit to the Bluffton Self Help I was able to encounter some amazing people and surprising I was able to encounter someone who needed help with their living needs and their life. But in the end even though I was not able to help anyone or provide guidance I was actually able to gain some very useful information that could help me as an individual and as I continue my
When first starting the essay, I had some trouble figuring out what exactly I wanted to write about. I had a lot of thoughts, but my problem was putting them all together in a manner that wouldn’t sound like a personal diary. It’s tempting to write everything I know and don’t know about myself, but I’m sure that that wasn’t the point of the assignment. As far as I can tell, everything I wrote in the essay is true. The only part that isn’t exactly correct is that I have a five-inch rubber ghost (it’s actually a mummy, but I changed it after your feedback).
When looking for information on the Renaissance and each artist, I noticed that when reading articles or books about Donatello they didn’t have much on him. That made it difficult to find enough information for this paper. In the article "The Importance of the Antique to Donatello" I thought it was going to give me a lot more information then it did. Some strengths the article had was that it contained artwork of Donatello and some information about the type of style he would use. The weakness was that the article did not have much about his life story or when he started to become a sculptor.
On Checking for Comprehension Assignment 2 I didn’t better I still didn’t receive full points. I received a 34 out of 40, which means I lost 6 points. I’m not sure what I got wrong because I didn’t receive grading rubric back, but I’m sure it was terminologies again because Part 2 of the assignment is getting out and actually applying the knowledge which is what I am best at. On Checking for Comprehension
Skills Writing is a process that involves a purpose. Throughout the semester, I used the four steps of the writing process: pre-writing, drafting, revising, and editing. I believe pre-writing and brainstorming is the most important step because it allowed me to organize my thoughts in an outline.
