There is no precise age when puberty starts in boys. It depends on the body structure of boys, different bodies develop differently. In boys, puberty begins between 12 and 14 years and the process may start as early as 9 years of age. In other words, puberty begins when the body is ready for the developments.
The initial signs of puberty that boys experience are growth of pubic hair and testicle growth. The testicles grow about 4 millimeters during the onset of puberty and grow up to 25 millimeters at full sexual maturity. The maturity development in boys differs from girls and the duration of sexual maturity from puberty differs amongst different boys. Some boys can reach full sexual maturity around two and half years from the beginning

Before the onset of the puberty is the right time to impart sex education and awareness to kids. It will help the children to clear their doubts and to get relieved from mental disturbance due to unusual changes they experience in their body and mind.
Sex education and awareness counselings to boys helps them to understand the process of semen production in body, how child birth happens, intercourse and the risk and preventive measure to be taken care of etc. The boys also should get an idea about the anatomy of female body, nature of sexual organ and the process of child bearing in female which will help them to get rid of the unscientific knowledge acquired from others. As babies, depending on others is an essential part of life. Babies need food, shelter, protection and nurturance, which is provided by the caregiver. “According to Erikson, this extended period results in the first stage of psychosocial development being centered on forming a sense of trust” (Papalia & Martorell, 2015, p. 171). Stated in Erikson’s eight stages of psyhchosocial development, babies first challenge involves in forming a basic sense of trust versus mistrust. Trust allows a baby to feel safe and love.
When most children grow up, the world revolves around them. Boy’s life, written by Robert McCammon shows a perspective of another boy, in another town, another time period, about his story of growing up. They only think about their hometown and what happens, when you grow up you know nothing of terrorist groups or presidential elections, it is all about you and your family. Boy’s life gives the readers a story to think about differentiating from this novel and their childhood. This develops on the reader with some disturbing scenes, however this book is obligated to stay in the curriculum because of the lessons that it educates the readers.
Erik Erikson developed his 8 stages of psychosocial development to explain how humans evolve emotionally, mentally, and morally from infancy to adulthood. In each stage a person confronts and hopefully masters a set of challenges. Erkison, “believed that humans have to go through certain stages in their lives if they want to reach their full development and those stages have expanded from the moment they are born to the moment they die”. (Erikson) Trust Vs Mistrust.
This occurs from stimuli or something else that stimulates someone sexually. Physically contact can also trigger this. In the case of males, blood rushes into the gentiles causing it to become erect, and in the female, the swelling of the clitoris and opening of the vaginal lips as well as it becoming lubricated. Nipples may become erect at this stage. Plateau – Penis becomes fully erect and may secrete a few drops of liquid, and in the female the clitoris withdraws under the hood.
This is supported by what we know of a very similar and more common disorder, Clinical Lycanthropy. Children with Clinical Lycanthropy undergoing the bodily changes associated with puberty often see said changes as a sign that they are turning into a
Variations in the onset and duration of the pubertal growth spurt may affect the final size of different craniofacial structures.9,30 Longitudinal studies have shown that growth changes during adolescent growth spurt are more pronounced in the mandible as compared to the maxilla.9,31,32 The current study reports that the onset of pubertal growth peak occurs around four months earlier in girls as compared to boys but there was no significant difference in the overall duration of the pubertal growth peak between the two genders. A review of literature also shows insignificant differences in the duration of pubertal growth peak between boys and girls.24 Late onset of adolescent growth spurt accompanied by continued post-pubertal increase in mandibular
Playing with other children and socialising through imaginative play is one of the ways young children continue to develop their identities. Imaginative play including role playing and inventive games also helps them to develop the way they see the different roles in their lives such as mummy, daddy teacher, doctor and so on. As a period of development the early primary years are huge children become more skilled at using numbers and words and because they are toughly absorbed in expanding their world they ask many questions about it. Adolescence 12-19 years; at this age of development strength is added to childrenâ€TMs growth. many girls will be already in the swing of regular periods and breast growth and boys now begin to go through puberty properly .there are often big differences in heights and strengths for both genders.
Introduction People who guide and interact with the children must have the basic knowledge of their overall personality development from birth to puberty. So especially parents must know how to guide their children, and should have a basic knowledge of the development of sexuality from infancy to adolescence. Freud (1964) believes that children’s pleasure is governed by the id and are focused on a different area of the body (Erogenous zone) at each stages of development: oral, anal, phallic, latency, and genital. According to Freud (1953) as cited in Sareen (2013), believed that personality development is influenced by the behavior of a child.
In Development During Middle Childhood, Andrew Collins looks at many different perspectives of middle childhood. The perspective I was most interested in was the “Sibling Caretaking” portion. (345). Most children, age six to twelve, have been found to be the primary caretaker of there younger siblings or younger children amongst their cultural group. Sibling caretaking is also referred to as “shared functioning”.

During this stage their sensitivity now becomes concentrated on the genital area and masturbation in both the sexes which becomes a new source of pleasure (McLeod, Psychosexual: Simple Psychology, 2008). Freud went on to state that the child now becomes aware of anatomical sex
Every single body part changes during puberty. There are three transformation of puberty- the growth spurt sexual differentiation and brain maturation. For girls, puberty begins with growth of the nipples and initial pubic hair, peak growth spurt, widening of the hips, the first menstrual period (menarche), final pubic-hair pattern, and full breast development. The little girl’s story from Teel’s piece shows that children as young as nine years old are old enough to learn about sex and puberty and how badly it can turn. This girl was able to use her knowledge about sex and puberty to tell her friend what happened to her and get the care she needed (Teel 2016). Sex and puberty are not always how they are depicted. Many cases like rape show how different sex and puberty are from how children are taught about
