As a child you are always asked , “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Sometimes our answers are generic , like a firefighter, astronaut, or a doctor. Our parents are excited with these responses because it means we choose to aim high. Unfortunately as children the process of getting into the career you dreamed of is not as instant as growing up. Many factors come into play growing up which will either help you pursue that dream or find one entirely differents. Pursuing a career as a Registered Nurse is a part of me that I am extremely passionate about. It is not only a career path for me, however it’s a part of who I am. A career in which I am on my toes and constantly, and using my brain to solve problems is the one for me. From the medical, scientific and patient point of view each of theses avenue offers a challenge. This requires me to be on my a-game at all times. In the nursing field I can also challenge myself in different areas of medicine, from anesthesiology to pediatrics. Various and specific fields in which I can expand my knowledge to help people. There's not just one type of nurse, because not all patients are the same, not all fields are the same. Nursing allows you to adjust to the needs of others a characteristic that I am very capable of
To some people, a successful career is an occupation that earns the most money. But, to me, a successful career is an occupation that you love and are happy with. I want to become a pediatric nurse because I love to help people. I also enjoy being in the company of kids making sure that they are happy and healthy. I think this is the perfect career
My goal is to obtain a career that will allow me to help people. I 've always taken joy in the nurturing and care of others, therefore I will pursing a career that aligns well with those qualities. Careers such as a registered nurse, or a psychologist of some sort definitely intrigue me, specifically the aspect of these fields that deals with children. Working as a child psychologist, a NI CU nurse, or a pediatric nurse would be a dream come true. Helping to nurture and take care of children is very rewarding in and of itself, although it would be amazing if I could make a career out of it.

The reason why I choice Neonatal nursing was because I enjoy taking care of younger children that need my help with many different things. Neonatal Nursing gets to save babies and younger kids lives if they are healthy and able to go home with their parents when they are first born. The Neonatal Nursing gets to help families that are in need of them to take care of their babies when they are born. “When working as a nurse you will be working some crazy hours and many hours you might have to work weekends and holidays with being a Neonatal nurse.
Since the sixth grade I always knew what field I wanted to go in, but I never knew exactly what I wanted to do. I knew I always wanted to go into the medical field due to the fact my mother was always in out of the hospital due to her being diagnosed with cancer. I had a list of jobs that seemed interesting to me which was to be an anesthesiologist, registered nurse, nurse practitioner, or oncologists. When I got to college I finally picked my major which is nursing. I know my top five strengths will help me as I start my journey of becoming a registered nurse.
Nurses who work hard by taking care of the patient. I am in college with no career choice. I had no experience about what it will be like to be a nurse. My mom always wanted me to be an accountant. So I decided to major in accounting.
But never lose sight the reasons why you chose to enter this glorious profession. Where else can you use both your heart and your head, be challenged every day, and make enormous lives of others? Nurse is the most rewarding profession not just your job but your career. It is a lifelong journey like no other. It offers rich and diverse opportunities.
Over the past couple of years, I have been giving a great deal of thought as to what I want to do and who I want to be in the future. Nursing Career Over the last couple of days I have researched nursing. Nursing is an career that I am very interested in pursuing & making my career. Nursing is a profession within the healthcare sector focused on the care of individuals, families, and communities so they may attain, maintain, or recover optimal health and quality of life. I wanted to be a nurse ever since I was little , I use to love going to the doctors and having the nurses take my temperature .
I am a diligent, compassionate, and curious student. I love to challenge myself, set my goals high, and expand my knowledge. I am willing to be taught and to adapt quickly. I believe that I am ready to undergo an undergraduate study and pursue a professional nursing career for I have a passion for learning and caring for others; and I have done much research and observed nurses, which has led me to be certain of my decision for a career in nursing.
One of the reasons why I have decided on this career path is my willingness to work directly with people and help them. I realize that nursing requires full dedication, as it is a profession for the whole life. That is why it was decided that the Nursing Degree at Georgia Southwestern State University would equip me with all necessary skills and knowledge on my way to become a professional nurse. I consider the abilities to show compassion, make autonomous decisions and satisfy needs of various individuals are among the biggest challenges in the nursing sector. In addition, there are some outer ones as budget cuts and growing workload for nurses at different hospitals and care centers.
I am a soon to be graduate, and I’m passionate about the path that I have chosen for my education and career. I have chosen to pursue a career in nursing because I’m interested in the medical field and its ever-changing nature. I am confident that I will be successful in this career because I believe nursing is in my blood, as my mother and grandma are both nurses. I thrive on challenges and have excellent time management skills, which are characteristics that I will depend on in order to be successful in college and beyond.
The part that interests me most is helping others and making them better. I believe I will be successful at it because I have very good bedside manner. I have helped my close family and friends when they were sick, injured, or cut. My family has introduced me to many different aspects of the medical field, have worked closely with a few nurses, and taken a couple courses based on nursing to further my experience.
The career I am going to write about in my research paper, is a career as a Registered Nurse. A Registered Nurse is a nurse who graduated from an accredited nursing program and met the requirements outlined by the country, state, province or similar licensing body, in order to obtain a nursing license. During this overall process I learned what I really want to do compard to what the mymajors.com said I should do. It suprised me that the mymajors.com thought I should be a teacher which is probably because i want to work with kids. After high School I would like to persue a degree in nursing at College of the Ozarks.
