Queenie Volupides got into an argument with her husband Arthur and stormed out of the house. She went to the county club where a party was taking place. At around 1 AM, she left the country club and invited her friends over for another drink. Queenie got to the house 10 minutes before her friends did. When her friends got to the house, Queenie stated that Arthur fell down the stairs and he died. The autopsy report showed that Arthur died from a head wound and confirmed he was drunk. Queenie is lying and she is a suspect for the death of Arthur. My first piece of evidence is the glass in Arthur's hand. If you look at it, you can see that it is unbroken and upright. If Arthur fell down the stairs the glass would have broken. Either way, it doesn’t …show more content…
She could have took the pan, hit Arthur in the head, and laid him out on the stairs to look like he fell down. Then, when her friends came, she made up that story so she could look innocent. The fact that he was drunk was a good cover for her story. The autopsy report showed that he dies from a head wound. If Queenie hit Arthur in the head with a pan, that would explain the head wound in the autopsy report. Her story is false. Queenie killed her husband Arthur. vwas not upstairs, he was downstairs and he was cooking. Then there would be a reason for the stove to be on. What really could have happened was that after Queenie came back to the house, she was still mad at Arthur. Queenie killed her husband
Amy LaTour’s body was found last night with her pet canary strangled in its cage. The evidence at the scene suggests that she was strangled by her one boyfriend Henry Willy. The evidence that Henry killed her is that we know Amy was at her vanity because the stool is pulled out from the desk. Since Amy was at her vanity there is a mirror right in front of her face, in the reflection of the mirror the door is cracked open a bit.

Miller’s arguments for Julia surviving are that after the operation of Julia and Mary, Julia survived even though she was in Mary’s body because the body remembered being Julia and didn’t know anything about Mary. This here is evidence to prove Miller’s argument against Weirob that a person cannot be simply identified as bodily identity. This argument by Miller claims that a body isn’t needed or required to identify continued existence but personal identity is which is the mind, memories, ideas, beliefs, and similar behavior for a person to continue living. This is a trait seemed to what happen after the operation where Julia in Mary’s body remembered being Julia and not Mary. The person had Julia’s memories, ideas, and behaviors while showing
In the essay “Who Killed Benny Paret?,” the author discusses multiple ways the boxer Benny Paret could have been killed. He says that it could have been the ref not acting in time to stop the fight, the doctor who did his physical; maybe he approved Benny when he should not have been approved, or maybe it was the manager who might have wanted Benny to just jump back in the ring without a full recovery from his last fight. All of these suggestions seem reasonable, but they are not the cause of his death. None of those people specifically killed Benny; therefore it is not their fault that he has passed, even if the previous accusations are true. The author then says that it is the punch and the impact of the punch to the head that killed Benny.

In 1873, Mary Ann Cotton was arrested and put on trial for the murder of her seven-year-old stepson Charles Edward. Immediately after hearing of the boy's death, the coroner ordered a post mortem, which was carried about by Dr. Kilburn, on a table in Mary Ann's house. The inquest was held the exact same day next door from her house and with such little time, no cause of death was actually found and "natural causes" was recorded as the verdict of death ("The Story of Mary Ann Cotton: A Frail Dressmaker's Poisonous Past"). Meanwhile, the entirety of Mary Ann's kitchen was analyzed to ensure that there were no traces of arsenic on any of the items (Herdman).
His brother, Henry, died of a mysterious forest fire in 1944. Edward eventually reported that Henry went missing, but many think that Ed murdered Henry himself. When the police arrive at the farm, Edward could lead the officers directly to the burnt corpse. Also, when the body was found, it was found with bruises all over its head. The case, despite the suspicious findings, was legally ruled as an accident.
Arthur’s response to their plan, saying that “ the only hope I now have left is that Lancelot will kill you both and all the witnesses—a feat which, I am proud to say, has never been beyond my Lancelot's power” (p.427), gives him hope that Lancelot and Guenever will escape his societal law so he doesn’t have to punish them and fall into Mordred’s trap. Part of Arthur wants to warn Guenever and Lancelot that Agravaine and Mordred are plotting their destruction, but he must go against his feelings because if he helps them in any way, he would be going against the new justice system he created for the Kingdom and would be aiding their way out of prosecution. The laws he made were created by the idea of might versus right he created a stance on during his talks with Merlyn, and following his feelings to help his friends would be going against himself and everything he stands for. Arthur, to keep his morals and laws, must let go of the people he holds most dear to him, no matter how much it

When I walked in this house and saw this dead man, Arthur, laying on the floor at the bottom of the stairs, I predicted that this man has fell down the stairs and has injured himself enough to the point, he died. With the time being 1:15 in the morning, it was a very interesting/surprising case for me. I could tell he had been drinking when I noticed the glass in his hand. By the look on Queenie’s face I could tell she was very shocked and very devastated. I noticed that the glass in his hand didn’t spill, so he must have had a tight grip on his glass, of course no one will really know how this exactly happened, but with knowing that the autopsy concluded that when he had fallen and died from a wound on his head and that Arthur had been
“I 've had some dark nights of the soul, of course, but giving in to depression would be a sellout, a defeat” (Christopher Hitchens). John Green 's Looking For Alaska suggests that Alaska 's death was in fact a suicide. Her depression was very prevalent throughout the whole book. The scene of the accident is another reason why Alaska’s death was a suicide.
