The reflection of this quotation in my life is that it helps me to understand why some people in my life are leaving me (literally). It maybe because they are tired of dealing with my strong personality. It helps me believe and realize that (yes!) I know that I only have control over myself not them. And because I love them, I will let them be on their own and try to accept the reality that we need to go on our separate ways. It also makes it easier for me to let go my negative emotions toward other people.
