Why act people act heroically, people think that people act heroically for that reason they like to help people even if they did not know them. We can see this to be helpful for that reason they are brave, they have an instinct, along with they have empathy for people. In my paragraphs, I will state how people act heroically. First, people act bravely to help others even if they are scared. Bravery if you like to help people that you did not even know. Consider that a lot of my evidence from the story “If We Must Die”. The story talked about people being racist to African US. It's about people being killed for being a certain skin color but now these days, no one in reality cares what skin color you are. This is a quote from the story “ If we must die, let it not be like hogs” What they mean by that is not dying as a slave. For instance, the quote for that reason shows people can be brave along with trying to stop the racist things that are happening. Another quote from the story is “ If we must die, O let us nobly die” What Mckay means by this is, We can see this in, to die nobly for that reason it will mean that they are brave. When their instinct comes out they could help people without even knowing it. In the story “The Underground Railroad '' Harriet Tubman worked during the civil war. This quote “She was responsible for freeing about 300 slaves' '. For instance, the quote for that reason it showed she had the instinct to help those 300 slaves escape during the civil war along with using the underground railroad. This quote “After she escaped to Philadelphia, she began working on the railroad to free her family members '. For instance for that reason she had the instinct to help her family members escape without dying. Harriet Tubman also risked her life to help people escape from slavery. This shows in the story that she had an instinct to help
