In To Kill a Mockingbird prejudice in Maycomb is terrible. There are two major people in To Kill A Mockingbird that are prejudged severely. Boo Radley and Tom Robinson are the two main people who are prejudged. There is also one other man who prejudged, Atticus Finch. All three of these men are mockingbirds. Mockingbirds never bring harm to anybody. Tom Robinson, Boo Radley, and Atticus Finch resemble mockingbirds because they never bring harm to anybody.

Boo Radley is prejudged because he never came out of his domicile. Boo Radley never brought harm to anybody, he just choose to stay in his domicile and never come out. Tom Robinson is prejudged because he has black skin and not white skin. Atticus Finch becomes a victim of prejudice when he helps defend a innocent black man in court; Tom Robinson. Boo Radley and Tom Robinson are prejudged; do to the fact that prejudice is so inclusive, the people who help the "mockingbirds", like Atticus,easily become victims of prejudice. Many of the people who live in Maycomb gossip and spread rumors about Boo Radley because he chooses to always stay in his domicile, while Tom Robinson is stereotyped by …show more content…

Folks who thinks they're doing right..not for me to say who. But all they did was stir 'em up (232). "Therefore, those who help people whom are prejudged, become major victims of prejudice. People in Maycomb prejudge Boo Radley and Tom Robinson severely and the most. In To Kill a Mockingbord,Harper Lee Clearly shows how wide spread prejudice is, by using Atticus's standpoint ,Boo Radely, and mostly Tom Robinson's standpoint. Tom Robinson and Boo Radely are not once ever close to being given a chance. The whole reason Tom died because he was not given a chance, but because he had black skin, and also because he was prejudged by most of Maycomb.
