Living in the 21st century, in a modernized world yet people are targeted based on their races. Racism and the discrimination have been used as powerful weapons to encourage hatred of others in wars or even economic downturns. It is considered to be the world’s major issue these days. History of racism goes way back to the ancient times when Ham, one of the three sons of Noah, was being cursed because he was black. This irregular border of ethnicities has touched not just the economic and political representation, but also the educational as well as the health and social mobility of people of color.

It’s not about the skin tone of a person rather the social status of the people. Similarly in India, the racism is not just of the color but of the social status too. India is a nation where people face racism in every corner of the nation. People in India believe that white people are the backbones of the society and the blacks are not worth it. At last is Germany, it has its own way of racism. They don’t value the foreigners who move in their country and they even have hatred for the colored people. These were issues of some of the countries of the world where racism plays a major part, however it is an issue all over the world. Not just this, it has a huge impact on our society as well. Racism divides the society into two groups where one of them feels superior to the other, which may not just be based on skin color but religion, cultures or even superiority. Racism is an issue that has spread all over the world like a virus. It has not just affected a part but has taken the entire world under its umbrella. It has affected many people, societies and goes on from generations to generations. Looking at the present scenarios, there have been many improvements but not as we expected. Shedding some light on the story of the novel, ‘To kill a Mocking Bird’ by Harper Lee. This story was based on the concept of how a black male was accused of raping a white female. Despite the fact, that the rape wasn’t done by Tom, the black man, nobody believed him just because he was the different one. This explains our society on so many levels.
