Short Story On Lilly

It was a rainy day on 103 Maple Street Lane. The Earth family which consisted of a nice and loving mother, a scientist father, and two nice daughters, and one friend who lived with them named Carl. The daughters names were Lily and Allison, Lilly in high- school and Allison in 3rd grade. Carl was one of Lilly’s best friends, and got to move in when his family got trapped in a fire and was the only one able to survive. One morning, Lily was told to pick her sister up after school. Lily went to school, and had homework to do at night, so she went straight home to do her homework, but she had to hurry before the storm returned. All of a sudden she heard a doorbell when she got home, and when she answered, she saw her sister drenched with rain.

After not talking to Lily for a while Allison decided to go play outside in the rain, but when she walked out it stopped raining. She went to go play in some puddles, but the water was too dirty. Then she saw her dad playing with some potions on the sidewalk. She had no idea it was potions, until she saw a cool color with a label ‘fly’ potion. When her dad left to go inside, without him knowing, she took the potion and replaced it with a water bottle that looked similar. “Lilly should’ve never forgot to pick me up, now I’m going to pick her up!” said Allison. Allison told all of the family and friends to get out of the house except for Lilly. Allison threw the potions to make the house float into the air, but before it leaves the ground Carl jumps into the house and tells Lily what's happening. Now they are 3 feet high. Lilly knew what to do, but she needed equipment. Carl was making some potion reversers while Lily was trying to throw down a rope for her dad to tie to the mailbox. across the street. Carl finished the potion and poured it down the side of the house and they got the house from 100 feet above to 50 feet above the ground. Still in the air, they were panicking because the potion reverser would only work for a few more feet. Plus, they had no time to make a new potion reverser. Carl found a potion reverser that had to be put aside in the kitchen because her dad hadn’t finished it yet, but Carl found the recipe next to it. Carl got the 3 other ingredients while Lily was mixing the potion to keep it at a liquid state, because it would change any minute to a solid when no one would stir
