I came to this school a little bit late, and before now, I had never experienced this kind of education system, so it was hard for me to get into DAIS. My English skills are very poor, so I do not understand what teachers say and even do not understand information that is given. But most of courses were not so hard for me because I had learned similar things at my old school. Hence, your class was the biggest challenge to me. I remembered my first class in your course was watching the movie Hidden Forest. It was horrible. I did not know the formal context and did not understand their dialogue. However, this kind of person was changed in your class. I am sure that I was participated most in your class than any other class. During the reading project—First They Killed My Father. I could read all request number of pages and take an active part in discussion. There is one thing that seems miraculous—I had never took notes while I was reading but I could remember most of details that you asked and even remember more than a half of the plot now. Here is another thing that I think worth telling. We did a propaganda project after finishing the book First They Killed My Father, when I presented mine that was the first time I did presentation in English without any manuscript. I do not always like to be a speaker with people’s attention. However, I stood in the front of your room, and found every word in my brain that I could use to explain uses of every single detail on my propaganda with fully eye contact. It was the first time I got an A in your class, which made me excited because I am not only a bad out-speaking speaker, but also a poor painter. When I did the drawing part of the assignment, I really paid in a lot of hard work. I used a little red ant to present peasants, and I also used a gun and a spade as symbols of Khmer Rouge soldiers and peasants, so I found pictures from Google and copied them down. That was a
