There are many different snakes in the world. Some are venomous, others are not. The rattlesnake and the cobra are both very venomous snakes , but they are very different. I used the manual “ How to Recognize Venomous Snakes in North America” and the story “ The Running Brook of Horror” for my research. The story was written by Daniel Mannix. Some facts that impressed me were that cobras kill more humans annually than lions. Also, that all snakes are deaf. The cobra and rattlesnake are very different and unique. The rattlesnake family and the cobra family have a myriad of similarities. For example, both families have hollow fangs that fill up with venom.
