Introduction
Education is a goldmine that will never run out. The quote is true in a sense because the world of today is solely based on one ideology, which is capitalism. That is the reason why nowadays, lots of governments and different kinds of institutions spend so much money on education because the government and institutions that were previously mentioned believe that by having a high level of education; higher human development comes out right from it thus stronger labor force. By having a high human development, the people will have a better chance of garnering better productivity as a result the economy will grow as well as the government

Abstract Children in the education system are often told the adage “school comes first”. A statement which implies that an education is more important than any other extracurricular activity, social relationship, or family event. For the purposes of this specific essay, the term “education” refers to K-12 public education in the United States, specifically in the Saint Louis area. Recent research on the disparities and inequalities within the Saint Louis public education system have challenged the notion that “school comes first” for every child. It is no secret that education gaps and literacy gaps exist between rich and poor areas of Saint Louis.
The school system was not always the way it is now. It was not schools that were mixed with every race under one building sitting next to each other getting the same education. In 1954 the Supreme Court ruled that it was unconstitutional for schools to be segregated, in the case of Brown v Board of Education. This paper will argue that the Little Rock nine played a pivotal moment in history by leading to desegregation and bringing into light the social injustices during that time for African American students. Terry Barrett describes that there are six categories that photographs can fall in that describes their external context.
The Little Rock Nine, a group of nine young African American students, took a dynamic stand for people of color, specifically in the South, in 1957. During the time of the Segregation Era, schools were divided by the color of a person’s skin. Schools in which there were only all white or all black people attending them during the time. A group of nine African American students called The Little Rock Nine would be the first blacks to attend Central High School, Arkansas thus making great change in the history of today. The Little Rock Nine took a stand against a segregated society, created friction within the education system, and challenged racist people, resulting in a change in society and life for people of color today.
Why give more money to something that is going to be wasted if fifty percent of the freshman class will drop out and only half will see graduation? For most of the schools Kozol visited, the dropout rate ranged from seventy-six to eighty-one percent. Poor performance was also seen as a deterrent (58). Funding was not available to establish pre-K programs to help prepare students for the classroom. As a result, almost all the high school graduates in the lower end schools read at sixth and eighth grade levels.
NU 413 Week 9 Discussion Board Post student response to Katie-Lynn Fournier by Kathryn Moultrie Good afternoon Kathie, Enjoyed reading your post, and seeing how other organizations handle the operations of their facility and nursing departments. My biggest concern with improving quality care and patient safety issues in that, the responsibility is not ours alone, our Chief Nurse Executives (CNEs) and Director of Nursing (DON), and senior nursing management staffs to lead the journey Disch J. (2008). I find it overwhelming that the majority of the research literature (studies, surveys and reports believe nursing plays the pivotal role in changing the face of health care and improving quality care and patient safety.
Kids from KIPP are very smart and responsible young adults, but how do these kids do it at such a young age? KIPP is a better school than Anaheim schools because the students who go to KIPP have a higher percentage of graduating unlike the students at Anaheim schools. For example “ Just over ten years into existence, KIPP has became one of the most desirable public schools in New York”, because the KIPP students take their work seriously and tend not to socialize with others who slack off. Another reason why KIPP students are doing so well is, study shows that the students at KIPP are spending fifty to sixty percent more time learning than the the traditional kid at public schools. That is another reason why kids at KIPP are so successful because
Sara Lynn Rogers Danna Bacus Police and Society November 26th 2016 Iowa K9 Police Unit Do you love dogs? I do. You may think that they are just for being pets but they are more than that.
K-9 units are composed of law enforcement officers who are paired up with highly-trained canines. Canines are useful for their intelligence and strong sense of smell which helps out with pursuing fugitives, searching for missing people, and during narcotics or weapons detection. A canine would have a special bond with their handler to the point where they would even save their handler from danger if needed. The canine handler would normally maintain 24 hour control over their canine. K-9 units are involved in the following duties: “Detect the presence of illegal substances, dangerous chemicals or explosives, Pursue and apprehend fugitives, Track and rescue missing or kidnapped individuals, Locate bodies that have been buried or submerged underwater,
In the year 2013, President Barack Obama explained in his State of The Union Address that he would like to take the initiative to give every child the chance to have early on education. Despite many people agreeing that something should be done to help boost the education system in America, there were also argument that came up with this idea being presented. Some of these people argued that by going through with this idea, money would be taken away from taxpayers as well as the government. The supporters of this project state that by going through with this idea, this project could have outstanding effects on the children in their near future. The main driving factors that make these two sides so opposite is the targeted people that will be affected.

Education is a huge issue that not only affects kids and their parents, but their community as well. Schools teach young kids to become the next generation of engineers, technicians, and political leaders, working towards creating a better future for their country and their community. Teachers have the unique job of creating the future leaders of the world, and preparing them for both college and life beyond, by putting a special push towards math and science, the so-called “foundation” of our society. The hard truth is, no one can be anything they want to be. Some people are simply not cut out to be engineers, doctors, or psychologists.
As you can see the Philippines education is not that good and to improve our education system is through k-12. There are many pro arguments for k-12 program first is enhancing the quality education. This is very much needed here in our country, as stated before we have a poor educational system. Through k-12 our standards of education higher can be add more to our present curriculum therefore we can add to the stude3nts knowledge, next is preparation for students to work, its true not every one who finish high school in the Philippines will go to college most high school will look for a job after they graduate and most of them around 16 -18 years old therefore to young to earn living last is current curriculum will be “loosened”. This is because 12 years of education is crammed into only 10 years this can stress a student would have a less stressful, albeit a longer time in school (padre
