Abraham helps us to see that Real Love may require you to do things that may be difficult, daunting and rather dangerous. Things that seem senseless, silly or that are so surreal, but we must trust Real Love and submit to His request knowing that He will always have our best interest at heart. So, when Real Love makes a request, that you do something that doesn’t make sense, don’t hesitate, second guess or attempt to rationalize it, just do it. Release your faith as Abraham released his faith declaring that he and the lad would return. Taking the wood for the burnt offering, Abraham put it on his son Isaac while he carried the fire and the knife. At some point along the journey, Isaac asked his father Abraham, where was the lamb for the …show more content…
“In this, the love of God was manifested toward us, that God sent His only begotten son into this world, that we might live through Him. This love, loved us even though we were unworthy and unappreciative by sending His son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins” (1st John 4:10). “The great problem with the fall is that we lose not only our vision of God’s (love) but also our relationship with God (love).” This love is an undeserved, unearned, unworked for love that we will never be able to fully comprehend or repay. Our debt compensated by Him who truly loves us!
Throughout time, Real Love has revealed himself to all who have been before and who have come after the Patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and Israel’s sons. Moses and the children of Israel were made to understand through their journey from Egypt to the land of promise that providing is part of God's responsibility as King of King, as Father and as part of his character as the Loving God. But, when times became hard, and difficulty kicked in, he decided to flee. Now you are alone wondering how you’re going to make it. Real Love never forsakes you or leaves you with suspicion. He never leaves you hanging around or wondering if your situation with Him will ever get better or if you will come home to a cold, drab, an empty house. When times are good, and your life is full, He is there. In the most pressing and stressing times of your life, Real Love remains when everyone else has walked away, or your circle of friends has thinned out. His love is not activated based on your intelligence, waist or bust size. It is not measured or doled out based on your physique, biceps or curves. Whether your hair is thin, short, long, borrowed or purchased, gray, ball or falling out. Nor whether your teeth or loose, lost, broken, damaged, gone, chipped, cracked, artificial or partial, Real Love will be
It is God’s love that keeps us and nothing can separate us from it. God first loved us and demonstrated it when He gave His best for us. God the Father
Depending on the situation, relationships and love for another person are usually taken for granted as displayed in Elie Wiesel’s book, Night. At the beginning of the Holocaust, Wiesel’s father protected him and was his reason to keep fighting. As time passed Elie’s father became more of a burden when he was no longer able to protect himself and he relied on Elie to keep him alive. Similar to the deterioration of his relationship with Shlomo, Wiesel’s relationship with his heavenly father grew weak. When God did not come to the rescue of the Jewish people it caused strain on the relationship between Elie and God.
He further expressed by saying that God’s love took place upon Jesus. Wright provides skillfully crafted narrative of the history of God’s salvation from Adam through the tragic history of Israel until the coming of the messiah. Wright
I was raised to believe God was loving and caring. It was our choice to accept his love and Holy Spirit, and to follow the Ten Commandments. In return we will be rewarded in heaven. The image of god

I don't have much, but I will give you a place to sleep, food, and my love" (Beah 172). Uncle Tommy, never before meeting Ishmael, offered up his home, his food, and, most importantly, his love. This quote shows how strong an immediate connection can be when you love
God will always love His children regardless however; God desires and deserves our whole-hearted loyalty, allegiance, trust, obedience, and devotion. We live in a society that has increasingly demoralizes love, depicting it as cruel, superficial and full of complications. Nowadays it is easy for people to claim that they are in love, even when their actions say otherwise, and it is just as easy to claim that they are not when they indeed are. Real love is difficult to find and keeping it alive is even harder, especially when one must overcome their own anxieties and uncertainties to embrace its presence. This is the main theme depicted in Russell Banks’ short story “Sarah Cole: A Type of Love Story,” as well as in Richard Bausch’s “The Fireman’s Wife.” These narratives, although similar in some ways, are completely different types of love stories.
Love is a complicated thing. A wise man once said, ”There is great pain in love, for we all have our flaws, but it’s all worth it in the end; it’s worth the sacrifice.” We all have our little imperfections, and we have all suffered because of them, but at one point in your life, someone will see those flaws and find them beautiful. That’s what love is. This theme can be seen in the play Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand and in the poem, O’ If I were loved as I desire to be by Alfred lord Tennyson.

Love is a complicated affair, it involves the two lives of the couples and the lives of everyone around them. There are many factors that could break or make a relationship, for one to be successful they must be able to succeed in all of those factors. Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest delves into these factors regarding love and marriage. Wilde stresses the importance of social status and gender expectations as a key guideline for a successful marriage. For Wilde, social status is defined as birth, wealth, and power.
God promised Abraham that He would bless him, and bless all the nations through him. He also promised Abraham land due to his obedience and faith in God. When Abraham obeyed and trusted God, he was credited with righteousness and faith, and consequently delivered from sin by the Lord (Gen
Rather, it is that God loved us and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins (1 John 4:10). So the finest of songs surely has to point us in some profound way to God’s love for us in Christ, the love that entered our fallen world, lived the perfect life in our place, and suffered and died for our
