Animals are being tested, and killed because they are tested. Do you want that to happen? Well I don’t. Although animals being tested can be a good thing, I am an animal lover and don’t want animals to be hurt for sometimes purposeless. Well animals are sometimes killed in the testing. They could be immune to things that can kill us. If a vet tested an animal with a new type of medicine for a dog disease without the owner’s permission and it backfired many dogs can become sick and die because of animal testing.
Yes, I know it is sad, but it happens lots of times. Animals are killed in a test or kept in captivity for the rest of their lives. So we don’t need animal testing if this is going to happen to our poor animals. For example one website said, “Each year, more than 100 million animals—including mice, rats, frogs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, monkeys, fish, and

One day a vet will test an animal without asking the owner. The medicine for the dog disease will work at first. The vet lets the dog play with another dog and 2 days later the medicine backfires and now the dog dies and so does the dog that the vet let the other dog play with. Soon tons of dogs die because of that vet. This is not testing for human medicines I know, but this is still sad and important. This is an example of someone just not following directions. Animals and pets deserve better than this. I don’t want to go through the pain of having our pet die because some vet was careless. We need to stop animal testing even testing drugs for dog diseases. Animal testing is a sad careless thing that people think they can get away with. Animals deserve better. This does matter, I don’t want animals to die. People need to acknowledge their actions. Don’t let vets test your pets with medicine without permission. This does matter. (all of this paragraph is cited from Adventures in
“Every year more than 100 million animals are burned, crippled, poisoned and abused in other ways”. Animals all over the world are treated this way. They are kept in labs all their lives. And I think it is horrible. Animal testing is unreliable, not needed and is very expensive.
Animal testing is cruel and uncalled for, all animals deserve to live a long painless life and should not be tested upon. Companies test any animal they can get there hands on dogs, cats, mice, rats, reptiles, even monkeys. They put the animals in a cage with no holes no bars and “...they expose them with deadly chemicals the animals are forced to breathe in, or they put the animal in a restraint device, sometimes they even drill holes into their skull...” www.peta.org says. These animals they test never get to see the light of day or breath fresh air they sit and stay having no choice but to take the abuse. Abuse that they shouldn’t have to face cause they did nothing wrong infact it was the people who did wrong.
Did you know that millions of animals suffer in the U. S. just because of animal testing? When these animals are getting tested, they feel pain, but cannot react to it because they cannot speak up. To begin with, animal testing is not effective. Many animals do not get all of the same diseases that humans get.
There has been over a million animals that have been tested, and some have died because of the medicine they have been exposed to. If many of the animals have died, then the people that work for the hospital or the vets have to get those dogs, and get rid them. The people would have to get more animals that are nice and healthy. There are many scientists who believe their work can’t be complete without animal testing. Many people think that animals should be tested because some substances may be harmful to humans if not thoroughly tested for safety.
Studies have shown half of the products tested on these animals do not have the same outcome when a human tries it out. As laboratories test on these animals if not affected they do not disturb them out to the public. The animals die due to the fact they injected them with a virus or an infection and can not find the cure for it. Sometimes these injections are too strong for the animals to take and die with in seconds after the shot. Third, animal testing is very expensive.
Animals lives matter. Animals are an important aspect of life on earth. Animal testing can lead to animal extinction, decrease in certain species, and is all around not healthy for animals. Animals are tested on by cosmetic brands, household product brands and self care product and brands as well. Clorox, M.A.C Cosmetics, Johnson & Johnson, and many more popular brands test their products on animals.
Poor defenseless animals fight for their lives every day to test out products they have no use for. These poor sweet creatures have been taken away their right to live to be caged and mistreated and they can’t do anything but sit there and take it. Day to day, more and more animals are dying at the cruel hands of these scientists. Animal Testing is an act of animal cruelty, because it is inhumane, there are other methods that can be used to avoid harming innocent animals and animals are very different from
I’m here today to talk about a controversial issue that has been around for a period of time, animal testing. Animal testing using animals in experiments with different chemical substances in everything from medical to cosmetic to determine their safety as well as effectiveness . It’s a problem that has existed since the 3rd and 4th centuries BCE with its merciless methods and painful ways of abusing animals for human demands, but now it’s time for it to stop. Our technology has developed significantly since; therefore, such medieval methods of torturing animals are no longer necessary. Researches have shown that each year, over 100 million animals are tortured and killed in American laboratories alone, including dogs, cats and more; this shows how far out of hand animal testing have gotten.
According to the article, Experiments on Animals: Overview, from Peta corporations more than one hundred million animals die each year because of animal testing. That’s three animal’s lives every second (“People”). There should be a stop to animal testing because it’s cruel and inhumane, it’s wasteful, and animal testing is not very accurate. There are a lot of contributing factors to animal testing not being needed, one of them is because it is cruel and inhumane. There should not be a usage of animal testing because it is cruel and inhumane.
We wouldn’t subject our pets to burning, starving, and isolation, so why is it okay to subject other animals to this cruel treatment? Animal testing is harmful not only because it is unsafe, but because it poses a question of moral judgement. Testing on animals should be illegal because it is unethical, drugs that pass animal tests are not necessarily safe, and many animals lack the protection required for their safety. Many people are unaware of the torture animals in labs must endure when being tested on.
Animals are subjected to excruciating experiments daily. Countries such as Israel and India have stopped animal testing as well as Britain. “…countless animals are experimented on and then killed…” (Murnaghan 1). Animals are subjected to confined rooms all of their lives, used in painful experiments and then disposed of as if they are an inanimate object.
Many Americans have pets in their homes, who they consider to be important part of their lives. As a result many people are concerned with animals rights. Many people believe that animals should be treated the same as humans, however the struggle to find cures for some of America 's most common diseases, animal testing is a key to find these cures. Animal testing should be continued as long as it is done humanely, so we can find cures and new medicines.
You probably know that these sort of deaths are a serious problem, and scientists are trying to prevent them. It is a comforting thought to know scientists are trying to stop these deaths. However, this research could not take place without the animals being used as test subjects. The use of animal lives in medical research and in testing of drug is a necessary sacrifice to save countless human lives. Animal testing is a
Animal testing is bad because they are being hurt by all those chemicals they use on them. Some people don 't think that animals have feelings but they do, they have feelings just like us. So imagine if it was you who was being tested on and you were in
Imagine an enraged animal rights activist charging toward a scientist in a white lab coat, desperate to free the little mice that are being used as test subjects. Although comical, this scene may be quite accurate when describing the passion that animal lovers have when it comes to the touchy subject of animal testing. For centuries, animal testing has been used in the medical research field, however many are now beginning to question whether it is ethical. Millions of animals are killed per year due to animal testing, so is this practice worth banning? Animal testing is a controversial subject, with supporters pointing out the medical advances that have stemmed from animal research and animal rights activists declaring it cruel and immoral.
