Why did Jack the Ripper cut open his victims why did he cut the prostitutes vaginas out? Jack the Ripper is a murder he killed 5 prostitutes and has never been found. One day men will look back and say I gave birth to the 20th century. Who was Jack the Ripper, Why did he do the crimes he did, was he a medical man? Murder, that’s who Jack the Ripper was. They gave him this name through the media because of a man who wrote fake letters. He was given many nicknames one of them was, “the Whitechapel Murderer” (Leen). They say that he brutally slashed open his victims and cut out there vaginas and parts of their organs. The removal of internal organs from at least three of the victims led to proposals that killer had some anatomical or surgical knowledge (Jones). It has often been stated that Jack the Ripper neither had, nor needed, the requisite professional skills of a doctor in order to complete his ghastly crimes. (Jones) . They say he had Anatomical Knowledge. It was required to target human organs post mortem. A Dr. Named Thomas Bond a specialist in venereal diseases (Leen). He thinks that Jack had no scientific or anatomical knowledge. They think that he was just a madman who went crazy and attacked his victims and severed bodily organs by wildly plunging his hands into the carcass and pulling out anything vital he reached (Barbee). This seems to contradict his later assumption that the murderer was a man "...of coolness and daring". Should we believe Dr. Bond only after looking at one victim? This victim may not have been killed by the mythical Jack the Ripper. The pelvic area is where he pulled his organs out of the victims; this may give us a clue on why he brutally murdered 5
