Entry Task Essay There were many suspects for the murder of Amy La’Tour, but by the evidence I predict the maid to be the one who killed Amy La’Tour out of pure jealousy. The evidence in the image shows that the door is open, there is still a hairbrush in her hand, and the canary bird is strangled dead in it’s cage. First of all, the maid was the one who killed Amy because the door is opened, and if she is the maid she has access to go all throughout the house. The door going into her room is left opened which means whoever her killer is had to have access to get into her room. The maid would be the only one who has easy access inside. Since Amy has so many items from Joe I would assume she would not give her other boyfriend, Henry, any access into her room, and the burglar would have to break open the door which means the door would possibly be wide open or broken, instead of slightly a crack. Since the maid was her killer if she would have walked into her room while Amy was getting ready, Amy wouldn't think anything of it when she walked in because she is the maid and it is …show more content…
Amy is placed in a position lying on the floor that she fell off of the chair while getting ready, and since there are fresh flowers from Joe she must have been getting ready for a date. The maid could have brought the flowers from Joe into Amy’s room while she was getting ready. The maid Celeste, could have been helping her get ready. By putting the scarf around her neck, and choking her to death. Amy’s hand is also in a position that she was trying to reach up and stop the maid from choking her. If Amy was getting ready for a date with Joe she probably would not have Joe in the room helping her get ready, which means the killer had to be the maid. Therefore, the maid had to be the killer because she brought the flowers from Joe, and she was helping Amy get ready for her
The evidence that proves this is the fact that the window was broken from the inside. The glass from the window is on the outside of the door which means it was broken from the inside. Besides breaking the window she made it look like the room had been searched when it actually hasn 't. She hid the necklace in the plant on the mantel as proved by the fact that the
Merriweather Lewis supposedly committed suicide at Grinder Inn when he was going to Washington carrying secret documents. But over the years, much more evidence has surfaced proving that in fact he did not kill himself and was murdered. Everything from the conflicting stories by Pricilla Grinder to the ballistics tests performed, it is clear that this was not in fact suicide and was murder by conspiracy. In a ballistics test conducted, it was proven that when Lewis was shot he would have died instantly and if he didn’t, he certainly would not have enough strength to cock the second gun and shoot himself a second time. The pistol that he used was nicknamed a “horse pistol” because it was strong enough to put down a horse with one shot through

There was an event called Mardi Gras where a group of people came together to celebrate fat Tuesday,a day before Lent day. During this event Jake was murdered, the murder is yet not identified, and all we know is that Mr. Naquin was murdered in the bathroom with a Mardi Gras. It is to my believe that Mr. Naquin was murdered by Ms. Amy La Fleur due to the fact that witnesses mention how they saw Jake leave a minute before Amy did and no one knows where Ms. La Fleur went .
In the article, “Fourteen Reasons to Believe Lizzie Murdered Her Parents” by Unknown, it asserts that, “On the night before the murders, Lizzie visited a neighbour, Alice Russell, and told her that she feared that some unidentified enemy of her father’s might soon try to kill him.” This shows that Lizzie told her neighbour that her father was going to get murdered soon. This also means that Lizzie told Alice one of her father’s enemies is going to try to kill him soon. That is the second reason on why I think Lizzie killed her
7) Were there any instances in the timeline where something could have been done to prevent Amy’s death? If so, when? • When Amy told her coworker she was beaten with a bat some type of authority should have been contacted immediately • When Vincent called Amy’s job repeatedly, they should have called the police and reported him for harassment • Vincent came down to Amy’s job and started an argument with her which could become trespassing and he may have been arrested • When Amy went to her home the final time to pick up items for her children, there should have been at least two people who went in with her. Everyone knew he owned a gun and her going into that home was honestly a huge mistake.
The documentary that just recently aired on Netflix about Amanda Knox was very eye-opening and viewers could get a better insight on what exactly occurred. There was real-time footage and the questions that were in the backs of every person's mind were answered. Interviews were also held with significant others such as Amanda Knox, herself, Raffaele, the boyfriend and their family members. The case as a whole was out of control and messy, but Nick Pisa who wrote for the Daily Mail, revealed it was in fact a simple case but the media had torn it apart to include various ridiculous perspectives. The victim of the case was Meredith Kercher, 21 at the time who had traveled from South London to study in Perugia, Italy for a year.

“Patrick! She called. How are you darling. She put the parcel down and went into the living room and when she saw him lying on the ground.” Mary also creates an act that makes the detectives believe that she did not do anything to do with the murder.
Another reason why I believe she picked the door with the lady is because she didn’t want to witness the brutal shredding and potential blood bath of her lover. On page 18, it states, “How often, in her waking hours and in her dreams, had she started in wild horror, and covered her face with her hands as she thought of her lover opening the door on the side that held the tiger.” She thought about the brutal shredding and all of that blood. She hated the thought of it.
