If I had to choose one activity to pursue, I would go with activity number one: assistant at Drake Dental. I would choose this one primary because it involves helping others. “We rise by lifting others” is a quote that resonates with me as I believe strongly in its message. My job, while it may be insignificant compared to others around the office, involves helping others by making sure everything runs smoothly. Whether it be scheduling an appointment, or simply greeting the patient as they walk in, my job is to ensure that the patient feels satisfied with their dental experience.

The Billing, Cost and Rates Clerk seems to be very similar to what I do now. My job is very challenging and daily I have situations that require my undivided attention and brainstorming. Every day we see new situations and issues as our company is very diverse and is in many different sectors of the market. This allows me to see many different types of jobs, in locations all over the world. I believe this keeps me interested and focused on the task needing completion.

Hi Matt, this is Logan Sanders. After completing the preliminary Residential Assistant training I was not placed in a position. However, I was told by Shannon Jolley that "you are the very first person on our alternates’ list and will likely be awarded a position, even in the next few weeks". I received this email in early March, and understand that it I was not guaranteed a position. Regardless, I wanted to make contact to say that I am still interested in taking a position if one becomes available.
In this role, I advised customers on various make up, skincare and fragrance products. I used my expert product knowledge to build a rapport with the customers, and efficiently, accurately and confidently advise customers on their specific needs, ensuring every customer left fully satisfied with their experience. I developed a high level of customer service skills alongside effective communication of information. I worked both individually and alongside a team to maximise sales, exceed targets and build a client base. This role required a high level of motivation and enthusiasm which I successfully brought to CHANEL.
I was given a position of power, I went from a random volunteer that would show up on Saturdays and float around to help watch the children during the program and slowly got to where I am now. Now I am a core team member that attends a conference call meeting on a weekly basis. I am contacted when a decision needs to be made. I am Walter Rodger’s right-hand man. I lead song service as well as lead the teaching program, having often times been left in charge when the Administrator is gone for the week.
At the young age of six, a dark haired little boy was enjoying his times that he spent with his family. Together, they’d spend time visiting other family members in other parts of Wisconsin, as well as going to the zoo, parks, and much more. He was a very active child who loved playing sports to keep himself occupied. This young boy is someone that I would eventually meet and we have found aspects of our life’s to be similar, for example coming from a rough home situation in common along with our strong work ethic, and our thoughts and feelings. His name is Travis Korff.
”Open up register 2!” My manager always found a way to ruin my day. Winn Dixie was the first place I worked. I began working their when I was 16. I started working there on June.

The career I chose to research is a Child Care Center Administrator. A Child Care Center Administrator is known to be in charge of toddler-aged programs or daycares who share the academic or non-academic requirements. He/she has to be able to love children and be able to work with them while also being able to take care of the business side of the Child Care Program. Some duties that the administrator may hold is monitoring a child’s progress of intellectual and emotional development and assist anyone who has a concern with the program or building.
I believe my practical experience and what I’ve learned during my six years as a dental assistant at Plainview Oral sets me apart from other students. Not only for the dental skills that I have acquired, but also for the kindness and care that I have demonstrated, when working with patients in real life situations. Many patients have thanked me for my professional bedside manner both before, during, and after surgery. I also assisted patients with disabilities, and was able to exhibit a patient and positive attitude when working with them. Hands-on skills such as taking impressions, radiographs, and making night guards will help me thrive in dental school.
