His recollective monologues depict the multitudinous thoughts and feelings which pass through his mind. Both narrators can be theoretically analysed through the psychological theory of solipsism. Defined as “the view that the self is all that can be known to exist”, the theory suggests that each individual is an image created through one 's own mind. The theory can be directly pinpointed without the novel, through quotes such as “I need you, the reader, to imagine us, for we don 't really exist if you don 't.” Some Philosophers argue that the self is the only real and independent reality we know, and we cannot be sure that other individuals actually exists outside of our own minds (this is know as metaphysical solipsism). By this principle,
Title Day 1: I open my eyes, sitting up straight, only to realize that everything is turned 90 degree to the right… Next to us, a yellow school bus lies on its side. Pieces of glass scatters everywhere. Black smokes exit the cranky engine, traverse up to the height of an oak tree, then dissipate into the blue sky.
Beverly Jimenez, also known as, ‘Dr.Sissy’, stretches out of her petite, cozy office and steps into the ample operatory with dark orange walls and sticky purple chairs. Sounds of suction and the metal clanking of tools can be heard. She is asked to take a look at her patient's teeth whenever she is ready. She takes a seat on the low stool and opens her metal tools from their blue transparent package. She begins to examine the teeth of a young girl.
The mother was seen in the office today by me again. It was a result of my calling her up yesterday that she showed up. Her dress was very simple, not what I espected at all. She seem ambivalent about coming to see me – didn’t know what I was going to do I guess. Most of the time we talked about Charlie.
Now that Alex’s [so far lifelong] disease has been cured, he is playing out side. Some of the boys his age were playing with some round object that Alex had never seen. POV: SteveI never seen Sodapop look so...gloomy. He was always the happier one of the bunch, but ever since our gang has fallen...with deaths. First it was Johnny and Dally, then Darry and Ponyboy. His own brothers. Two-Bit was off somewhere with his children.
Paislee 's pov I allowed my body to flow effortlessly as I was very closely surrounded by all of my friends and quiet a few people I barely even knew. We had been dancing at my sweet 16 as I began to lose all track of time. I was wearing the dress I had picked out a week before with my nude heals and I felt beautiful.

Later I would find out that was not the only reason he worked that god-forsaken job. "Pretty good game huh? " I asked. "I haven't been watching but I've been listening. It sounds like our defense is playing better than they have been," Roman said as he continued to scrape.
In Thomas Lux's poem, “The Voice You Hear When You Read Silently,” the idea of a mental voice when reading is the process of creating meaning in a written text. Lux uses symbolism and imagery to make his message both powerful and beautiful. The vocabulary and explanations that he uses initiates a sincere and meaningful tone. Lux believes that the reader is the most important part of a written piece’s interpretation. The reader’s mental voice includes that individual's outlook, experience, and feeling.
Hi I am rachel Lerry. I am someone you would call extraordinary. Everything I touch turns to gold, but the sad thing is not many people see me at school. It's almost like I am invisible. My moms tell me all the time that I am the most amazing person they know.
Timmy, As I mentioned to you earlier, Eduardo called me at about 12:58pm because he was not feeling well. He told me that he was feeling nauseous and dizzy like he was going to pass out. I asked him to get back in the vehicle with the AC on and drink plenty of water. He told me he did not have any water he only had ice and he was leaking ice. I checked SegeQuest and noticed Cresencio Torres was nearby so I asked him to stop by and give him some water.
Monday through Friday I stayed with my grandmother and great aunt, so that I could go to school. I was in elementary school at the time. I use to listen to my uncle play different types of music on his stereo so that he could mimic the sound with the instruments he was playing. I used to sing along with him dreaming that one day I would be able to sing just like the singers on the albums my uncle would play to. As time went on, my mother met a man that she felt was a good man.
Today me and Slim walked to the bunkhouse together, just chattin’ about the little pup that Slim gave to Lennie, which is moreover a kind gesture of him, since we both know that it means a lot to Lennie. Now the big guy’s got something to pet. I hope this keeps him damn busy, so he won’t do anything stupid which will get us in trouble. Slim commented on the power of Lennie, when he’s buckin’ barley, saying that he almost killed his partner. I felt proud at that moment, and as proud as I am I told him that Lennie can do anything if it doesn’t require much thinking.
However, it could also be analyzed from a psychoanalytic perspective. The unnamed narrator has many mental problems. First of all, according to Freud, the unconscious affects the conscious in the form of guilt. The narrator always has an overwhelming sense of guilt. For example, the narrator says "he takes all care from me, and so I feel basely ungrateful not to value it more."
