Game Reflection The game that I chose is called “Who has the biggest brain?”. This was a game that was launched on Facebook around 2008. This game was basically a challenge between a person and all the people on his/her friends’ list that are playing the same game. 1. Why do you think you like this game? Dig deeper and ask yourself further questions. So for example, if the answer is “because it makes me happy”, go deeper and ask why it makes you happy. What I like about this game; is that it is divided into many sections; each one testing a different area of the brain, mainly being Calculation, Logic, Memory and Visual. The game is very challenging, once I start to play, I cannot stop until I rank higher than my friends. Also, when it generates the score at the end of the game, it states the contribution of each section in my final score. This makes me identify which parts I am really good at, and which parts I need to work on. Depending on each person’s different abilities and learning styles, the different areas covered in this game expose the player to different types of intelligences including logical-mathematical intelligence, and spatial intelligence. (Lane, 1999) Personally, I enjoy playing games that test my mathematical abilities, as I demonstrate an ability to carry out calculations in my head and I also enjoy finding patters in shapes and numbers. (Gardner, 1993) Part of this game is a memory test, the computer shows you different objects in a certain order and then they disappear, then you have to order them accordingly.
