Investigate: The goal for the result of this project was to make an animation longer than 30 seconds and the animation was to tell a story in which a certain audience will understand. Ways in which accomplishing this goal was challenging was how much attentive commitment was needed for even small portions of the project. Parts of the animation were going to need more focus and it was important that little to no mistakes were made on transition frames. Personal experiences, interests, and ideas that make my product important to me is the cartoonish element. With lack of seriousness and silly childhood memories of watching late night Boomerang or Tom and Jerry I found this topic interesting to approach and go into further detail of the parts …show more content…
The many insignificant and unimportant details about animation were from analyzing cartoon clips and small videos on YouTube; many of which do no actual justice in displaying all the hard work and time commitment behind the scenes. Art class knowledge helped, however, wasn’t as applicable with the specific style I chose to use. With average basics on how to draw and artistic abilities from a 5th grade class it was clear early on that to create an animation that would reach the set goal would need to be a lot of commitment and time management. The main source used to create the animation was the YouTube video by Alan Becker that explained the 12 Fundamentals to Animating. Although, his schooling background is unknown, Becker has been making credible YouTube videos for years with other professionals and companies. His tutorial videos on his separate channel are of more informational quality to inform others of various animation techniques. To make your animation appear more interactive and alive he mentions in his 12 Fundamentals to animating video that it would be required that even just one of his techniques were …show more content…
My deeper knowledge and understanding of the topic now comes from the research I have done and the hard work contributed. The knowledge I gained and understand of Global Context affects me personally and mentally because I personally now want to learn about the hard work that goes into everyday overlooked jobs and mentally I am more understanding of the background work to jobs that appear easier than they are.. I have grown as a learner in the MYP program by becoming more knowledgeable on how hard it is to animate something. If animating is truly your passion then you should go for it, but I have become more open-minded about that. I don’t think I ever truly thought that animating was going to be this stressful and that you have to be strong-minded to not get too lost in your own thoughts about if people will see your hard work as well enough. After completing this project I have a whole new level of respect for those who animate as a professional and those who have to sync the pictures with audio that they have to put
We had to really hone in on the reason we were doing this project. The purpose and delivery was so important in this journey and even when we knew where we wanted to go with the project we had to make sure the video accurately captured our focus. My group and I had various themes throughout our papers and at first I thought it would be impossible to find a way to find a connection between them. Eventually we found something that might seem simple or but allowed us to incorporate a lot of our work into one single video.
It has been shown that animation can be a potent tool for narrative, not just for humorous effects but also for tackling difficult subjects. It is a distinctive and significant program because of its capacity to tackle important themes through animation. The program has addressed topics in a way that is both educational and interesting. The Simpsons, thanks to the use of animation, has been able to depict complicated ideas and situations in a way that would be challenging for live-action television. Other animated series can now imitate The Simpsons and tackle important topics while still amusing viewers.
The video project was also a different twist on the way to reach an audience. It made us have to think in a different way to be able to get our point across. It was a good way to be able to look at it from a different perspective and challenge our previous thoughts on how to reach a purpose and audience. With this, I feel I was able to better to reach and audience and be able to state my purpose better, since the video was able to accomplish getting me to be able to approach a purpose in a different

While at Disney, Lance worked on a facial animation project that he considered
The amount of detail put into each frame makes it seem unimaginable that it was all done by hand. Using what I assume is charcoal on paper Rofusz depicts detailed scenes such as a forest and a house. Through the animation I think Rofusz tried to bring an atmosphere of anxiety and distress which is why the drawings are so rugged and unfinished, they seem chaotic, this paired with the un-uniformity of the angles moving in all directions helps us have the same feeling as the fly must be faced with. The colours used, being only black and yellow gives the viewer a distinguishable way of realizing this is the view of something more simple than us, yet experiencing something we can relate to.
Throughout the 81 years of Disney’s magnificent animation picture films, starting from drawings and paintings to the use of technology, animation has advanced and revolutionized the entertainment industry. This has changed the world by creating more content for children to see, changed the world of animation from cartoons to full on motion pictures that can make people feel emotion, providing entertainment through Walt Disney’s creations, his company’s later creations, and creations made by companies that the Disney have bought. It inspired millions of children to follow their dreams and have a major impact on their

An illustrator is a creator of art that helps a person visualise what you are reading. Illustrators create the drawings in the books you read. Imagine not having illustrations in books. Without illustrations do you think that you could picture what was happening? I know that I could not visualise what was happening if there was not illustrations.
A toy with that much background and story really helped me get a huge imagination which in turn is a reason why I started to make movies about them. I didn't need a script or a book to recreate, it just came out and sometimes took strange turns in the middle but always had an ending that made sense and fit the whole story together. After filming I opened the video in window movie maker, and in there I learned how to edit videos to make them look better and add special effects, and to this day I like editing small videos and seeing what I can
- Animated movies use artificial images like talking pigs to tell a story. These movies used to be drawn by hand, one frame at a time, but are now made on
It has taught me various skills within enculturation, facial feedback, empathetic listening, primary emotion, tolerance for ambiguity, distracted listening and perception. Enculturation has taught me to know my values and beliefs. It has made it clear to me about my culture and what I do and do not believe in within my generation. Also, within other cultures, it has made me curious to learn the similarities and differences they have from me. I have felt more connected within my family and the society from researching and studying enculturation.
