REFLECTION UPON AND ANALYISIS OF THE WAYS IN WHICH JOHANNESSBURG SHAPED ME

As a teenager coming from the villages of Limpopo who just recently arrived into the city, different things like the appearance, functions and functioning of the city, social life in the city and more especially crime shaped me in the process of adjusting to city environment. I use to have my own imagination on how the city looks like and how it functions, but now as I am a city resident I am experiencing the true reflection on what the city really is. Based on three texts “My Cousin Comes To Jo’burg”, “WELCOME TO OUR HILLBROW” and THEME PARK CITY I am going to argue on how I was shaped by the city and how is that related …show more content…

As I conclude Johannesburg city really shaped me as a person and adjusted me to be able to adapt with the city environment and life style and now I can be able to function as anyone else in the city.
