I decided to chose this due to the lack of available stores when I was shopping for my equipment so I thought it would ease the players of my team to instead of ordering from the USA or going to the USA due to the price difference from Sweden and USA. One other reason is my mom, she created an website a long time ago which was internet casino which gave a lot of money but it got shot down but just before I started the personal project. She wanted to create another which was about selling home decor online. I thought why not do that, but I quickly realised that I was tougher than I thought so I change my project to have an business plan so I could start an own
I did have some trouble understanding what exactly was the project, but I now have some clue to what I'll be doing, however further clarification would help. I was able to find what was needed with no problem and complete what is now needed to be done. I've never used a the project section on black board before, but I don't think it will be anything difficult to use. I would guess that it something we'll need to be using for this class on our projects, but I'm not really sure, so I'll guess it's useful.
According to the website cnu.edu about 67% of Christopher Newport University students graduated in 2014 within six years. This means 33% of the students failed to graduate within six years. This statistic makes me feel very confident with the school I choose. I plan to attend the Luter School of Business at Christopher Newport Univeristy and graduate with a degree in business management. I will overcome my challenges and become successful by seeking advice from experts, adopting effective strategies, and understanding the benefits of a college
Investigating For my Personal Project topic, I chose to create a website or a mobile application for iOS by coding. I chose this in hope of successfully creating a social media website/app where students could enter their service activities and have fun doing it. They would be able to see what their friends have done as well as being able to post and sign up for new service activities. Administration could also use this as a record for points/hours (depending on the school). I would call this website/application ObServe.
I was told early into the semester by my professor Rogerio Zapata that we needed to write a six page essay on a regular meeting or a school board meeting. In fact in our first exam some of the questions were about the paper we needed to write. In addition Professor Zapata remained us every class to attend a meeting. As a high school student the first thing I did was to going ask my principle if she knew when the next school board meeting was going to be held. She give me great information and told me if I needed more about the meeting to go to the school website.
In week 4, we went over how to understand the different types of teams, what were the strengths and weaknesses of each team. In the course we discuss innovation team, cross-cultural team, permanent team, temporary team and virtual team. We also discuss intercultural teams and how it affects the work place. Through this assignment I learned that I have worked on a cross-functional and virtual team. With the cross-functional team we have to come together and prepare a work document for a top customer.
For my educational experience, i attended a school board meeting on April 26th at the District center. This was my first school board meeting, so i wasn 't sure what to expect, but i wasn 't expecting that set up. I was expecting more parental and community involvement, those stereotypical parents who criticizes everything about the system. Instead i found myself with adults who looked like they were doing the same amount of observing as me. There was 8 board members sitting together in a closed square flip top, i didn 't particularly like this because a few members had there back faced to the guests and it felt like guests/other presenters weren 't as important or acknowledged really.
During the summer of 2015, I drove to Lipscomb University’s campus with my mandatory khaki shorts and a positive attitude. I knew it was an honor that I was given the chance to attend Volunteer Girls State, but I had no idea to what extent. I grab my bags, walk to registration, and instantaneously get fixed inside a cloud of smiles, greetings, and positivity. It was almost overwhelming just how cheerful the atmosphere was, but it was tremendously refreshing. I told my mom goodbye and glanced over my busy itinerary with my roommate just before heading to the first of many Davis City meetings.
My interest in intercultural communication and determination of pursuing a career in international education motivated me to apply for the MA ICBP at Warwick University. The decision has been carefully made based on my bachelor degree in International Communications Studies with Spanish, voluntary teaching in primary schools in China and Cameroon. After graduation, I wish to work for as an administrative coordinator in an international education institution or as a program manager of NGO, promoting quality education. With 3-5 year working experience, I will head for a PhD degree to prepare myself for a research-oriented position. Undertaking my bachelor degree in the first Sino foreign university, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), is the first step for me to engage in cross-cultural communication as a learner.
When I graduate I would like to work for a company that has global operations and potentially someday have the opportunity to work in a country outside of the United States. This experience would help give me an understanding of what it would be like to live and work in a foreign country in order to prepare me for future endeavors. I have chosen to take Intercultural Communication and The International Business of Sport during session one and Italian Cuisine and Modern Architecture during
This unit will act as a precursor to students exploration of globalisation in Stage Three where in they will discover some of the wonderful things that can, has and will come out of it.
This essay is going to discuss the inquiry based approach to learning, and why it is a useful learning tool that promotes discovery, critical thinking and engaging in investigative techniques that allow learners to find solutions, sum up opinions give constructive feedback and gain insight into why an event happened. I will reflect on my participation from this, and what I learned that has compelled me to study towards becoming a social worker. Inquiry based learning [IBL] is a fact-finding process through which by curiosity displayed by a learner or a group it entices them to search for answers about the topic. Additionally, in a classroom environment, the teacher may ask an open-ended question that fascinates the class to want to look for

Introduction Prior to taking this course, my perspective on globalization was very limited because I had very little knowledge and experience with this topic. I never gave much thought to the educational practices or policies that are implemented across the globe. There are many factors to consider when it comes to the process that these countries have taken to successfully integrate technology into their K-12 education system. Before even taking this course I will admit that I have thought about how great it would be to connect with educators or health professionals across the globe, but I never thought I could make it happen.
