These physical defects are accountable for their inferiority complex in the society which is responsible for creating a number of conflicts and other psychological problems like neuroticism, low self-confidence, low aspiration, low achievement motivation and negative self-concept among all categories of physically challenged children. The neuroticism is one of the major psychological problems which are faced by these children. It is a basic personality trait in the study of psychology characterized by anxiety, fear, moodiness, worry, envy, frustration, jealousy, and loneliness. They respond more poorly to stressors, are more probable to interpret normal situations as threatening, and minor frustrations as hopelessly difficult. They are often self-conscious and shy, and they may have difficulty controlling urges and delaying gratification. Neuroticism is a prospective risk factor for most "common mental disorders", such as depression, phobia, panic disorder, other anxiety disorders. Neuroticism is operationally defined by items referring to irritability, anger, sadness, anxiety, worry, hostility, self-consciousness, and helplessness that have been found to be substantially correlated with one another in factor analyses (Costa & McCrae,

Shortly after his surgery and the loss of sight be started to fall into depression and I was able to see he really needed some help.

It is important not to stereotype a child with a disability, as this can lead to low self-esteem, for example a child with specific learning needs might be expected to do poorly in all subjects at school not just the ones affected by the learning need and this is not always the case. Since I have worked in our setting I have been introduced to quite a few children which have different types of disabilities. We aim to make sure that each individual is treated the same and included in all activities by adapting the activity to the child's individual

Introduction Vision is one of our most valuable sensory modalities, it is the way that we as individuals identify our surroundings and ourselves. African American children at a young age are more susceptible to having eye problems mainly because of the fact that they are still children and still exploring their surroundings. It is estimated that around 500,000 children become blind each year but that number is expected to grow. In developing countries that statistic is even worse as around 60 percent of individuals die within a year of becoming blinded (NIH, et al, 2015). This brings about the question as to what are the true causes of these blindness’s

These are some things we take for granted, sometimes you really have to sit yourself down and acknowledge how lucky you are. But in an imperfect world, some people aren’t as lucky and you have to be willing to listen and learn about what other people go through.

(Jang et al., 1996) Besides the 3 traits, environment also affects neuroticism. In another study, it was found that when the individuals experience Stressful Life Events (SLE), their level of neuroticism increases despite their baseline. It was also found that recent SLE would cause a larger effect as compared to distant SLE which suggests that SLE effects would decay over time. In terms of agreeableness, openness and conscientiousness, the traits would increase based on environmental influence but decrease based on genetic influence when age increases.
