I’m very glad I had the opportunity to take this subject this semester. It has enlightened me. It has helped me understand things that I have done in past how were they important and it has taught me new things as well. It has helped me to secure my position in an organization/group in my future. It has helped me in seeing by what means would I be able to improve a group and lead it legitimately. My experience of being leader started when we had to perform a drama as a group and I was the leader of it. I had to organize and manage everything. I had to make sure my team does better and can win the competition. I had to make sure there are no arguments or disagreements between members of my groups. There were 5 (five) members in total so everyone had different ideas and views about every decision. This experience provided for me a ton of new learning about driving individuals, cooperation, correspondence and arranging. From the first hours investing time with my group amid the planning time I could see everybody had a few capacities. Yet some needed to participate and some were modest to try and talk up. I needed to deal with boding between my colleagues and verify they open up to one another and get to be agreeable which would help them to perform well. I verified that nobody felt less critical or disregarded by listening to all that they said , listening to each recommendation they made and discover a center way that everybody could concur
Learning how to be a leader has been the single most important skill becoming an Eagle Scout has taught me. It has allowed me to be a leader in many ways on my FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition team including Team Captain, Engineering Lead, and Robot Driver. Although Robot Driver may not seem like a leadership position, it actually

This program has given me the skills I need to adapt to new problems that I would not have anticipated the day before and to have a strong work ethic. Through this group project and the numerous assignments I've had throughout college, I've improved my time-management abilities and learned how to set priorities more effectively. Not only from the coursework but also from the connections to Christ made in
A prime example was when I was the secretary of the Battle of the Books team. Not only was the secretary, but I was the oldest member of the team. That was one of my earliest positions of leadership and where I learned the significance of reliability. My ambition was to contribute to everything I did in various ways. The following year I participated in a total of eight different school clubs, most of them happened simultaneously.

I love working with people. I enjoy working with groups to help inspire excitement and understanding of the challenge at hand, then leading them through that process. I became a Girl Scout in elementary school and this is where I began to see the importance and excitement of leadership. As a Girl Scout, our troop worked as a team on many projects that helped people, but we also had many leadership opportunities to provide encouragement and support to others to achieve the goal we had set. My leadership skills continued to grow in my band classes.
The Leader in Me teaches students 21st century leadership and life skills and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader (FranklinCovey, 2009). Introduction Team leadership encompasses many things. It may seem like a simple and small task, but in a real sense, it is complex and comes with responsibilities, and commonly, it determines the success of any team or a group. However, the value of teamwork should not be overemphasized considering that all organizations need individuals and personnel who are willing to share ideas, listen to others and contribute to the problem solving of any given group or a company. Team leaders should have the ability, authority, and power to analyze data and information with a team of people with a common aim and objective as well as issues. The leader should understand the dynamic patterns, the connections and relations between paramount factors in these objectives, aims and issues that help in the analysis process.
Leading can be time-consuming but will always be worth it as you grow and you help others grow as well. You will be able to see the differences you make whether they be little or small and being able to help others will make you happier to inspire others to do the same. Leading is all about changing. You will not regret trying to be a better leader. I am so thankful for the experience I had to interview Hailey.
Most importantly, since the contents of this course are largely different from what I have learned in my major courses. I regard this as a rare opportunity for me to take on some new challenges, and I would like to take a chance to develop my leadership skills. Before attending this course, “leadership” is a word quite far away from me, and I only have some basic understandings of it. And I found out that most of my thoughts I had about leadership are very different from what it really is.
In this Capstone I learnt from it that is not only work in the individual it also works in a team or a group of people to encourage us to solve challenging problems, think critically and develop skills. For example, build a good relationship, well-communication, planning, research skills, media knowledge, public speaking, teamwork, self-confidence, target setting and so on. Competitive strategy is a strategy that develops student focusing on emerging understanding and the dynamic of an industry which is local issues. A process of reproduction, reflection and experiential learning are enhanced within solve problems, decision making, analysis of general critical, capabilities of creative thinking and so on. All of these will help us in our future
Introduction Leadership is the art of empowering people around you to achieve a goal. As a leader I want to help others become leaders themselves. I firmly believe that by leading based on my values this will be accomplished. I have had many leadership influences throughout my career. Some of them showed me the way I wanted to someday lead and others showed me exactly how not to.
Over the last two weeks I have spent 13.5 hours with Kyle Wilcox and 7.25 hours with Doris Rindels; for a total of 22.75 hours with Kyle and 8.25 with Doris. During this time, I have had the opportunity to shadow Doris and Kyle during several leadership meetings regarding the integration strategy for Grinnell Regional Medical Center and UnityPoint Health. The organization is actively working on the strategic plans for rolling out various changes within the organization as we move from being a private entity to part of a larger organization. I have also been assigned to take the lead on the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) integration that includes working with the hospital, affiliated clinics, and the skilled nursing facilities in the area to improve the quality of care that the patients in the community receive. I am very excited about this opportunity to be able to utilize the leadership skills that I have learned from this class and my prior classes as well as the implementation strategies that I have learned.
I participated in several school meetings. After working with students in small groups, I evaluated my mini lesson for student improvement. My students were able to work independently, collaboratively, and utilize feedback from other peers. This taught me to reflect on advantages and disadvantaged of the lessons
