After conducting the exercise with my partner and accumulating his feedback, I also shared my insight with him. Although we differ in many areas, there are also some similarities that if well stipulated, can become beneficial to both of us.
When my partner told me that positive attitude was being honest and straightforward in whatever one is doing, although I agreed that honesty and straightforwardness is vital in whatever we are doing, I had to add that positivity should include friendly emotion and socially accepted or admired behavior portray around your surroundings. In addition, I made my partner to agree with me that honesty and straightforwardness alone will not create a conducive environment for people to feel relax and excited while carrying out their task. I narrated to him that it was very easy to identify it because people surrounding you will definitely see your action and will certainly give you feedback either directly or indirectly. On the point of what action to take, my partner believes doing the right thing at the right time was all that is necessary. I enlighten him that him that going a little far by encouraging and comforting others even in times of adversity was necessary. Although my partner does not care much what others consider positive attitude be, I explained to him that when other people think you are a positive present, they often concern and can easily follow and do what you want them to do.
