In modern day business, we see a great diversity in the branches of knowledge dealing with various aspects of business and trade. In every field of business activities, people are involved who have some know-how about any subject relating to a business such as Finance, Accounting or Economics etc. and are given some assignment or duties to perform in a company or an organization according to their ability and field of knowledge. Personality is described in terms of the measurable traits a person exhibits. Personality traits are characteristic behaviors and feelings that are consistent and long lasting. The Greek theory of personality remained influential well into the eighteenth century. Like the ancient Greeks, modern researchers believe in the existence of a few basic personality traits as such extraversion, conscientiousness, agreeableness, Neuroticism and openness to experience. Neuroticism and openness to experience are negative traits. As we have said that extraversion refers to outgoing nature i.e. such people are active and attentive to their tasks, they work easily with others, they are talkative and can easily handle any situation at the spot. This behavior tends to relaxation of personality and automatically affects positively on work performance. Agreeableness defines people who are sympathetic, calm, and eager to help others. These peoples have contacts and due to their cooperative nature they work easily and such behaviour improves personality. Conscientiousness includes people who have self control and active process of planning. They are strong and willing to do their tasks and due to this nature the improved personality affects positively on job

Due to the business that Whole Foods are in, specializing in natural and organic food products among other products, it is crucial that their associates possess significant knowledge about the products within their area of responsibility. As a result, training and associate learning is more important for Whole Foods in comparison to other grocery stores. In other grocery stores clerks are required to be friendly and courteous and basically know where specific products are located within the store.
Being an Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, and intuition means many things, most of which describe me well. Since I am an Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, and intuition, I am a conscientious helper, and sensitive to other people 's needs. I also value loyalty and tradition and make my family and friends a top priority. I should value others feeling and always think about others first. Some more traits I have are that I am the good thinker, I always try to be logical and punctual, I am energized by social activities, and need others approval before I make decisions.
Every individual goes through different experiences that mold them into who they are. The combination of their genetic makeup, the environment in which an individual is exposed to, peers, culture, and many other factors determine who they are as an individual (Twenge & Campbell, 2016). This is also what is considered to be an individual’s personality. It is the greatest influence on how an individual will react in any given situation; not everyone will react the same in any situation. Personality is the recurring patterns of thoughts, behaviors, and feelings that can be seen across all situations and time (Twenge & Campbell, 2016, p. 6).
As noted in in the book, out of the five-factor models the personality traits I possess are as follow conscientiousness

The question, which always ponders over mind is does my personal skills suits to today’s dynamic world? If not, how do I move forward? For this assignment, I will be talking about 3 of my personal strengths provided by the VIA Personality Assessment. These include “Judgment”, “Love”, and “Appreciation of Beauty/Excellence”. In this paper, I will also give a brief example of how these character strengths are being used in the workplace based on the VIA research findings. The VIA Assessment showed that my top personality trait was “Judgment”.
This framework became “The Big Five Model” which was developed by several sets of researchers but later extended by J.M Digman and Lewis Goldberg in 1990. The Big Five Model includes openness to experience, conscientiousness, agreeableness, extraversion, and neuroticism.
Big Five Personality Traits The five personality dimensions OCEAN are Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism. This were defined as follow, according to Crissy (2011), Openness is the capability of appreciating art, emotion, adventure, unusual ideas, imagination, curiosity, and variety of experience. The characteristics such as imagination and insight, and those high in this trait also tend to have a broad range of interests were the traits feature in this dimension. Next is Conscientiousness this is the persons tendency to show self-discipline, act dutifully, and aim for achievement; planned rather than spontaneous behavior..
Personality is the way one behaves, thinks and feels. Theorists are interested to learn what shapes personality, what causes one to behave, think and feel the way one does. Different theorists have different beliefs in what causes these individual differences. These individual differences can be split into two categories, nature and nurture. Nature would be environment while nature would be the brain and the genes, also known as genotype.
Personality is one of the main areas of psychology research. Over the years, researchers developed theories trying to explain how people are different and similar. Personality traits were grouped together to be determinants of more general traits such as Extraversion, Agreeableness or Neuroticism. The traits were tested for various correlations. All this to better understand why people behave the way they do and how big impact does the personality have on behaviour.
These are just a few reasons how my grandmother is not only the most important person in my life but also my hero and changed me to who I am today. A Personality is something people will always remember about you. You could have a funny personality or strict and anything inbetween. If I could give any examples of my personality it would include the words awkward, kind, and forgiving.

An insight into personality is important to understand the function of a person’s mind. By doing this you would be able to understand and observe your own psyche from an outside perspective, interact with others better and understand why they do what they do or predict how someone may react to something. My personality can be describe as Introverted since I am reserved, practical and quiet.
