According to The Community College of Aurora website, English 121 is an English composition class that: Emphasizes the planning, writing, and revising of compositions, including the development of critical and logical thinking skills. This course includes a minimum of five compositions that stress analytical, evaluative, and persuasive/argumentative writing. (CCA) The final project of this class is a portfolio which will include three essays written during the course of the semester. The portfolio will reflect the improvements made on three of the four major essays written during the course of the class. At this point, a reflection on my preparation for the portfolio is simply a reflection on the process of learning how to write the essays
