Introduction Prior to taking this course, my perspective on globalization was very limited because I had very little knowledge and experience with this topic. I never gave much thought to the educational practices or policies that are implemented across the globe. There are many factors to consider when it comes to the process that these countries have taken to successfully integrate technology into their K-12 education system. Before even taking this course I will admit that I have thought about how great it would be to connect with educators or health professionals across the globe, but I never thought I could make it happen. This course reminded me that I wanted to give my students the opportunity to see the world from a different perspective and to provide an experience that would forever change how they saw the world.
Comparing Reflection Essay 1 Looking at my first reflection essay I would say that I am much more informed and knowledgeable on the perspectives of global education technology. The first half of my original reflection

It has been the fault of the school district, school, and teachers as to why the students have a lack of global perspective. In talking to my students I found out that they think very little of competing academically with another country and how the use of technology impacts their ability to compete. Other than a social studies course, we rarely mention what takes place in countries other than our own and it is even more rare to talk about how these countries are using technology or their advancement in education. Not taking advantage of this platform with our students and colleagues eventually puts us all at a disadvantage because we limit our research for competing to neighboring schools and counties before we even look at things from a national
I believe that students should be more focused on the top subject like math, English and science because those are the subjects that America is lacking. American schools are spending money on hiring bilingual teachers when they should be focusing more on hiring more English, science and math teachers. In a trail of US students against other countries “It found that students in the US are below average in math and placed in the bottom quarter of countries that participated and trail nations such as Estonia, China and Finland. More than half of the participating countries outscored U.S. kids.” In Polytechnic high school there is about one Ap chemistry teacher which limits the chances of every

Our educational system is failing us. The United States of America is supposed to be the “greatest” country in the world but statistics are showing that our government/educational system is failing us; children/young adults of the nation. Being a student of a middle ranked school in Arizona, I personally have had a first-hand feel for how good and/or bad teaching affects students. Just in high school I have had teachers that would just assign websites as our lesson and even teachers that sit at their desk for the whole hour; don’t even go over the mindset, homework, and maybe only show one problem so that we’ll know what the homework will be like. Until sophomore year I didn’t even know the differences between you’re, your, too, and to.
I. INTRODUCTION a. BACKGROUND: Globalization is a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different countries, a procedure compelled by international trade and investment, and supported by information technology. Furthermore, this process has an effect on various other systems such as on the environment, culture, political systems, economic development and prosperity and lastly, on human physical well-being in societies around the world. “Since 1950, for example, the volume of world trade has increased by 20 times, and from just 1997 to 1999 flows of foreign investment nearly doubled, from $468 billion to $827 billion” (York, 2016). Technology has been another primary driver of globalization,
ENG-122 Reflective Essay My writing process has changed tremendously over the course of this class. I feel more accomplished, confident and I feel sometimes that my ideas and thoughts just come in to my mind out of nowhere and I start writing about anything now. I pay attention to my punctuation and grammar more as I have polished them more now, not only when I write but then others write as well. I am constantly looking for errors and I highly think this is helping me a lot in my career.
Description Reflection is a necessary component in learning to regulate opinion, feelings, and actions. Reflection links experience and knowledge by providing an opportunity to explore areas of concern in a critical way and to make adjustments based on these reflections (Knowles Z., Tyler G., 2006). I will be using the Gibbs G (1988) Learning by Doing: A guide to teaching and learning methods (Davies S., 2012).
Introduction In this reflective essay I will reflect upon the course based on the assignments and projects I have accomplished this semester. Recent research (Kornblith, 2012:3) identifies that reflection is an active process and making sense of the experience through the understanding of one’s actions. As suggested by (Roberts, 2011:63) she states that the understanding of reflection have been used to develop an action stage, which can further help to improve my skills and knowledge towards my course. This is vital as it ensures that i get the most out of my learning experience and i could use them to their maximum benefit.
GLOBALIZATION, TECHNOLOGY AND LAW Globalization and Technology Globalization has completely transformed the way in which the world and its people interact. Earlier there were several roadblocks in the ability to communicate and interact with the people worldwide. But now, the world is becoming more and more globalized in all spheres: Business, financial, social, economical, etc. Over the years, a lot of technological advancements have come into picture including the changes in the field of Information Technology, having a significant impact on the global landscape.
In the early 21st century, those living in the developed world encounter the effects of globalisation on a daily basis. On a most basic level, from the Internet to the food that is consumed, it is possible to instantly access a different part of the world. Globalisation has also affected lives in ways that are not instantly obvious – views, beliefs and attitudes shaped by globalisation have changed how the world is perceived. Globalisation is different in the 21st century to how it was in the 20th century, and though the most underlying difference is the rapid development of technology, there are subtle ways in which it has changed – and ways in which it has not changed at all.

The promises of educational technology are phenomenal especially in the case of urban school districts. Technology is a versatile and valuable tool for teaching and learning and becoming a way of life. The most important thing is that teachers need to be prepared to use these technologies effectively. Schools can use technology effectively and for the welfare of students, teachers and society, it must be done.
My educational journey has been an experience I will remember. I have attended school in three different countries, Antigua, St. Thomas, and New York. A diverse educational experience has allowed me to interact with many different cultures and confront many of the different topics we discussed in class. At that time however, I was not fully aware of the implications of certain situation but after many readings I can now fully understand many of the experiences I encountered in my journey. All the information I have learned in this class however will bring all my experience together where I can make much more sense of it than I could when I was younger.
This reflection helps in the understanding of why things happen the way they do or how it effects my thought process. It is about going beyond the general concept of things and into the root of the idea. The development of such concepts allows me to ask the
The economic competition forced by the globalization is obviously the main motive for the reshaping the education systems in many countries. Global information and communication technologies, mass media and international NGOs contribute to reforms in education directly or indirectly. International organizations inflict their policy interests, objectives and philosophies to developing countries through conditionality related to lending. The discourses of knowledge economy, life-long learning, international testing and technology are found to be the main concern of education policy in developing nations; these have thus become in effect globalized education policy
The aim of this assessment is to reflect on what I have learned this semester regarding the module of Business in Global Context; from the lectures with the professor, the case studies done in class and the three previous patchworks that we worked on. We have learned that there are different internal and external components that affect the business environment, from corporate social responsibility to cultural and institutional framework; organizations must take into consideration all the factors related to the different parts of its environment. For the topic discussion, I will be discussing globalization and how it has affected the global business environment along with the key aspects and the different point of views regarding it.
