Attending USNA or West Point would allow me to begin a new tradition as I would be the first in my military-rich family to attend a service academy. The values, tradition, and academics offered at USNA and West Point align well with my goals. The service and education I can only pursue at one of the academies would not just be an amazing opportunity but also a
Since I will be leaving Jacksonville to go to college in Fayetteville, the only thing I can do for my old city is encourage its citizens to continue to better the city. There is so much I can and will do in my new college community. I will initiate conversations about things that need to improve, encourage students to strive to make a difference, and volunteer around the campus whenever the opportunity is given. The future excites me and I am ready to become an active member of a new community. I have a lot of hope in the future of our developing community because of all the students recently inducted into the National Honor Society and the active adults always ready to lend a helping hand.
There are countless reasons why having a college education is so imperative. Being a single mom and role model to my son, the possible opportunities and experiences, and simply the knowledge of having a college education are my top three reasons for continuing my education. Being able to support my son and myself and having a stable career is the long-term goal of my college education. The possible opportunities and experiences that come with having a college education will be my reward for working so hard. My dream is to attend an institution that presents students, like myself, who have financial-based needs the opportunity to pursue a quality education in a thought-provoking environment. I hope to procure a degree in the law or political science field, where I can fully share my desires and capabilities with the world, maintaining my passion to help those in need. I continue to grow from my dynamic experiences and with the limitless future possibilities of personal growth in college, I will be exposed to new life tests, ultimately developing into a newly empowered
If I want to be successful in anything I do, I know I have to put in much effort to make it happen. For example, if I want to graduate from college with double majors, I have to put in an enormous amount of studying to achieve this goal. The deeper meaning behind “one last time” is to work hard and give 100% effort in everything. This expression will carry on with me throughout my life; I hope that I will be rewarded for all the hard work I expect to do in
As long as I can remember, I knew that college was going to be part of my future. That is because I always knew what my family expected out of me. College is not only important to me for the reason of making my parents proud, but for making sure that I create more out of myself, as well. With a higher education, I will have more job opportunities available, potentially be able to earn higher income, and obtain more useful life skills than somebody who does not have a college education. To begin, having a college education under my belt is important to me because I will have more opportunities for a job, after I complete my four years.
I plan on furthering my education through college, and while working to complete my studies, I plan on using my leadership skills and passion to promote social justice on campus. Although I don’t know what lies ahead, I am excited. I will walk bravely into this new journey with my eyes bright and head held high, ready to soak in every moment as a learning

A diverse amount of new fields will be exposed to me while pursuing a college education, both through required courses and the individuals throughout.
National Honor Society can help me become a professional in the future. This organization creates enthusiasm for scholarships, develops character in students, and promotes leadership. NHS has many activities with students that can develop my leadership skills and help me achieve my goals as a professional in the future. There are different ways to contribute to the success and growth of the NHS. I would get actively involved in the activities sponsored by the NHS and will support my peers.
I will be the first in my family to ever attend a university, which really petrifies me. Consequently, I am committed to make my parents proud thus I have established several challenging objectives such as: to graduate with honor, to academically thrive in college and to finish in 4-years. I also desire to conduct research, to study aboard and to earn A’s during my first freshman quarter. Coming from a difficult high school experience I want to penetrate my timid and insecure boundaries and make friends, in hopes to reach my composite goal, to leave a memorable landmark at UCI and to create unforgettable experiences with others. 2.
I wish to pursue a college degree to aspire to my dream of prevailing as a forensic pathologist. I hope to go to an Indiana college to stay closer to home and care for my grandparents but still exploit the full college experience and secure a career for myself in the long run.
