Reflection On Science In The First Quarter Of 7th Grade Science

Ho-Jeong Kim - For the 1st quarter of 7th Grade Science the class has focused on learning the scientific method, proper scientific process, and our first International Middle Year Curriculum unit of relationships. In the relationships unit we mainly studied the subject of ecology. Our major lab and projects consisted of a food web poster, a lab comparing models of Bunsen burners, and an independent design lab with plants. As we proceed we will start our next unit on communications where we will examine the digestive and nervous system of the human body. Ho-Jeong has done very well in science for the quarter. All of her assignments were completed in a timely manner and she contributed to our class discussions. For group projects she cooperated with her fellow students and always displayed a positive attitude. Her goals for the second quarter are to be more careful while doing labs and write down material on the board in her notes.
